I agree for the most part. It was absolutely a crooked/corrupt cop movie more than a hood movie, but a lot of what went down was in the hood so it still gave people a perspective of hood life. I personally wouldn't have put Training Day (or 8 Mile) on a hood movies list though.

I don't usually comment but I can't keep quiet on this one. I like Watchmojo countdowns. I am a subscriber and find them generally entertaining. My only complaint is that they usually neglect to reflect an even DEI playing field. If there is a top 20 list only 1 or 2 of those involved reflect an African American point of view.
