Fiore Barrientos 1) Tim Berners Lee didn't invent the internet. 2) Not just the iPhone, but Steve's ideas did have a greater impact. He did to the GUI what Tim Berners Lee did to the internet. And the GUI is arguable a bigger thing than the internet. Also theres other products hes worked on. 3) Since Steve founded NeXT, he also had a big impact on the internet as we know it.

The basis for the internet was paved dozens of years before! Same thing with radio...and yes it was Tesla coming up with wireless communication before anyone else, even Marconi. He's one of the greatest inventors ever (probably the greatest), but never cared about how translate his ideas and concepts into money...and so "history" never recognized him as he deserved. (There's a reason why there's a Tesla measurement unit in physics/electricity, but not for Edison).

He was key to having the US create the manhattan project, which led to the atomic bomb, which ended WW2 and created the "mutual assured destruction" position that all of the world's superpowers find themselves in, which has in turn created all of the current 1st world's prosperity. Apple gets too much praise cause people think they were always first. Every single device they've released, a another device from another company had made first. Just his signature was key in what prompted the manhattan project to come to life, which in turn led to the atomic bomb being produced by the US first and ending the greatest war this world has ever seen. the Wright brothers were the first to invent aircraft controls that made fixed-wing powered flight possible. The brothers' fundamental breakthrough was their invention of three-axis control. the 14-bis simply went up via power then came down - only a step towards real flight

The Wright brother's plane was never presented for the science community in paris, they never demonstrated it until after the 14-bis. Even when they presented, their only achievement was the flight controls, of course they had their importance, but they didn't invent a self propelling machine, they just invented the controls that would be used in such a machine, what they did was a very well controled glider. And the one who distributed his' schematics to the world was Dumont, countries got access to flight because of dumont's model and engine development. If you'd like to consider the wright's flying machine as just a flying machine, that's fine, just as all the other flying machines at the time, baloons, gliders, etc. But the real first heavier than air self proppelling machine was 14-bis.

Edison didn't steal Tesla's patent for AC electrical current. Tesla sold his patent to George Westinghouse who then was forced to sell to JP Morgan.
