I love OG Preludes, but this new one is just blah. My first car was an 84 Prelude which was an absolute blast to drive! They didn't take ANY risks with this new model, and the fact that it's an automatic hybrid is just lame.

IT's not a Z. It's an overweight cornlog that has a truck/soccer mom van engine. I have a 73 240Z. THAT is a Z. Nothing past 1978 is a Z. A Z car is lightweight, no frills (i.e. bulls### elecronics beyond engine management), INLINE 6 cylinder engine and affordable. V6 engines do not belong in sports cars. Nissan knew that but they went full We Todd and did it anyway. At least Toyota knew the assignment with the MKV Supra engine type.

@@VBMichael_D The 3.5 Z motor is a very well balanced engine with torque to spare and RPM that is strong past the red line,I drove the 240 Z back in the mid 70s and at that time it was impressive but compared to my 05 Z its no where near the same car,things have improved with time.The dip stick on the 350Z is the worst invention ever,they regressed on that!

Best bang for your Buck …my thought is Mazda Miata. Sport cars are disposable income siphons,with inflation out of control, not much of that income and limits on production make it almost impossible to get those previous rare cars.

As an owner of a 2012 Yaris 2dr 5sp, I love the GR as a whole. I do not love the engine. Toyota knew better than to replace a 4 cylinder with 3, just like Nissan knew better than to replace a sports car that had an I6, with a V6. In fact, those 1.6L 3cylinder engines seem to be prone to catastrophic failure. I can't imagine why with it being so low stress and how the 3cylinder is so well balanced. LOL

Lexus needs a new design team that new LBX is ugly kinda looks more like a Nissan to me the looks just cheapens the brand to me, the GR Corolla is way better looking another opportunity missed. Why can't they put out something beautiful like that new red Mazda Iconic SP. Just my personal preference I personally own 2015 Jaguar F-Type R, but if Lexus had put out something that looked similar I would rather have the Lexus name plate vs Jaguar because of reliability.

As awesome as all of these sports cars are, I've kinda lost interest... Back in the day, sports cars were made cheap, and affordable so that everyone was able to enjoy that kind of drive... Now days, almost every sports car is priced like a luxury vehicle, or higher. I'm OK with companies having a big flagship expensive sports car, but all sports cars except for like 2 cars (miata and maybe GR86/BRZ). Toyota and Mazda's upcoming sports cars are going to be pretty pricy too.

I have to question the credibility of the information you are putting out. You started strong with the GTR however boosting information of the 86 without talking about the huge engine issues is misleading. To further my assessment of the cars you are covering the Prelude is a terrible step in the wrong directions I owned for 8 years a 5th generation and what they are attempting to do by reusing the Civic platform and imo making it worse is shameful of Honda. But you do you, keep the single minded bias based information flowing. Do research people. Research
