Genshin world is so pretty. I remember when i first started playing it took me a while as I was just enjoying the landscapes. It was a little difficult starting out as there’s too many restrictions (I thought) to power up vs games I played before. This was my first gacha so didnt have any idea of the mechanics.

I was never surprised by Zhonga Donga being Rex Lapis - I mean, have you seen the Liyue statue of the seven? That's him, that's absolutely him! I never watched the trailers, but it was clear that he is Rex Lapis. More jaw-dropping was for me that the Hilichurls and other monsters in Genshin are former people from Khaen'ria or however it's spelled.;;

My two most jaw-dropping moments are: 1. Zhongli is revealed as the supposedly-dead archon. I mean, I KNEW IT, with all the knowledge he showed us, but Hoyo made it so arguable until the moment we all saw the gnosis. As a player who played from the beginning all the way to 1.1, this revelation was so shocking. 2. Kazuha parried Musou no Hitotachi. I remember I needed several minutes to calm down and proceeded to the battle. He was the character that brought me back to Genshin after MIA for several months. AND people were looking down at him. So seeing Kazuha activating TWO visions and protecting the traveler was just the moment of truth for us who pulled for him in 1.6, ignoring all the bad rumors at that time. He is already the most special character for me ever since I pulled him, and that scene only makes him even more special.

4:09 there's also another reason for Raiden's hype, if you played or know the Honkai series, she's the expy of Raiden Mei, a.k.a the Herrscher of Thunder/Origin, one of the protagonist trio alongside Kiana Kaslana and Bronya Zaychik.

I couldn't agree more with this list aside from the first appearance of scara, since I wasn't playing at that time, but I was shocked that they revealed the fakeness of Teyvat's sky back then and not in Sumeru archon's quest for the first time.

Most of the jaw dropping moment you've said, is not jaw dropping to me but, a teary ones. I just love Genshin Impact and I'd humbly received any sort of content or lores they are giving. In my opinion at this current patch (4.2) the most jaw dropping moments are: 1. At patch 1.0 when it was reveal that the prince/princess of abyss mage is the twin. 2. The reunion, when the twins met each other. Basically the twin woke, experienced the cataclysm and awaken MC but he/she decided not to leave with the MC because the loom of fate operations. 3. The loom of fate operations, when we realize hilichurl are khaenrians cursed by celestia. I meanx WHAT...they're humans. 4. When Nahida said that the twin is recorded within the irminsul while the MC ain't. Man, that is the most jaw dropping moments and plot twists in my opinion, i can stop thinking about it and it's one of the main reason i haven't quit genshin. Though the gameplay is boring n nothing to do after I complete all the quest besides waiting the update, but everytime the archon quest or new regions came it never fails to amaze me so the waiting is worthed.
