I'm a WW2 living historian and watching Kate In Pearl Harbor was the ONLY reason I watched it. You missed actually her best movie "Cold Comfort Farm" an all star cast and she was only 18-19 years old. Find it and watch it as its hilarious. I will leave you with one line from the movie,"there is no butter in hell" and say it with fear.

What's interesting about Beckensale is that she'd be as adept at Shakespear Christopher Frye or Samuel Beckett as she is at comedy, horror, Sci Fi, or Indie Art House film. She's too beautiful to be a chameleon like Andrea Riseborough or Rebecca Hall or Blanchette but never count her out.
