gosh, when I as a kid I listened to Sweet Child O'Mine so fucking much that my ears melted, and I just can't listen to this song anymore because i'm over-satured for years. My number 1 would probably be Blackened by Metallica. That slightly fast lick after the first 8 bars of the solo (not including build up harmony) is the first fast section I ever learned. It kind of bridged the gap for me between "this is too fast, I don't understand what's going on" to "I can actually hear every separate note exactly as it's played. I can do this!". That was 6 years ago now, but man was I proud of myself for being able to play that :]
