well done...Numisman, on that 1982 reverse, I thought I had it but it didn't sell. I was so sure of the doubling that I didn't really check against all the markers. I thought there was just one. the other day I thought i'd reshoot the pics and it struck me that what I have is likely a Zinc 1982 SM DDR-002, or whatever....btw, stuck out on the west coast, it's nice to see lots of Denver varieties! cheers.

Best way to see is look at the number "8" . The top inside circle of the 8 is way smaller than the bottom . Then weigh it . I have one at 3.125 grams. The large date penny has identical circles for the 8. Just like this.

so hay there like these a lot ,i learn so much, so had a question about the 1982 d penny ,the one only 2 are known of, so i have 2 1982 pennys, and one is with the D mint mark and the other no mint mark. so it says to check the weight of the coins, and i did.....the 1982 no mint mark weighs 3.0 g and the 1982 D mint weights 3.1 g......so im wondering if i should go foward , iv collected coins my hole life but never started looking into them, and so hear i am ....please help with some advice not sure if to leave a email address or not but i really need a direction if one to be taken. thank you
