Ultras groups pay for everything themselves, they paint all the flags by hand and the big overhead "blankets" that you see are painted by hand on their spare time, using their own money and resources. Ultras lose money every game and the teams don't pay anything it's all done from passion and dedication. If you want to be an ultras you have to be ready to slide for your homies. Fight between rivals are common and so are ambushes on bars, and basically on you every time you walk the streets together. People have been killed on many occasions because of their loyalties to teams

Stop damn talking about money all video long ! U american consider sports as entertainement/business and all other stuffs. In Europe, north africa and south america, we consider football as way of life, pure love and even religion. Kapo(s (leaders of ultra groups) get no money for this, they get pure love in their hearts (same for all other ultras) when u stand next to a brother from ur city cheering for ur team. Thats it. You might never understand that, as an american, but this is what it is.
