Snake plants do not like low light conditions, looking sickly if grown in truly low light. They need to be near a window to be ok and they love direct light and grow well in full sun.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts, Nope, that statement isn't completely true. Although snake plants can handle low light situations, they might not flourish in those environments. They are flexible and can survive in low light, but they actually prefer bright, indirect light. Direct sunlight can actually harm snake plants by scorching their leaves. So, it's better to position them close to a window where they can get a good amount of indirect sunlight all day long.
