Really good summary, some things to note: Aquamirae is a really high quality mod and it will also have more mobs in the future. Alex's Caves also has very interesting and unique mobs, this isn't out yet and is probably only for 1.19.3 and beyond, so I think this will definitely be in the top 10 in the future. Of course Yellowbro's Extra's from the same creator as Illage and Spillage, it has the Defender and Creeper Infection, with more coming in the future, this will for sure be in the top 10. Alex's Mobs 100th mob will be a boss, this will push up its ranking for sure. Mango New Advent is an underdevelopment mod which already has a few high quality mobs, a new boss is coming called the Worker King, this would put it in the top 10 for sure. Illager Additions and From the Shadows should have been in the honourable mentions as well, though they would be top 10 once more mobs are added, very high quality mods as well. Since Mutant More will get a huge update in the future its ranking will also increase. I agree that it's a competition between Illage and Spillage and Cataclysm for now.

Oh yes! On 1.18.2 there is a really well made mod called “illager additions” it adds 3 extremely well animated mobs with epic ai, combined with the mob battle mod and maybe other mods, (also the item editor in the mob battle mod works almost flawlessly with the illager addition mod) it makes an awesome samurai like battle!

There are toooo many well made mobs that it is so difficult to choose some mods as top 10 mods . My favorite mods are illage and spillage and nikkori hazard.

I may have already told you this but from Goety, Apostles and Viziers now have death animations to spice it up a bit buuuut the Apostle crashed my game while it was fighting an iron golem as of 1.28/1.128.1.

You know what would be a cool mod for the mob battle mod? A mob based off of the show Primal. That show has a ton of insanely powerful prehistoric and mythical beasts.

They’d be so hard to kill! And not even just those 2, Alpha horned T. rex, Mammoths, mega spider, raptors and bats, ape men, witches, megalodons, huge cave bears, sabertooth, gigantic war elephants, and that hardly scratches the surface of all of the mods

7:33 from what I remember that’s the exact thing popularmmos did since most of his mob battles had mutant creatures at some point Edit: another cool mod that is currently stuck in 1.12 and below but is in the process of being ported to 1.16 is a mod I’m sure you’ve heard of is chocolate quest as it has extremely iconic and complex bossed that have worked so well in mob battles in the past (thanks to, you guessed it, popularmmos)

Honestly I your list, I don't really have favourite mod, they all are cool and original, you know ice and fire is the best mod for fantastic mob, ender cataclyst with his original bosses, illage and spillage with his illagers almost vanilla bosses, daeker soul that have potential and another mod that add dino(I don't remeber his name but "angry mutant enderman" upload a video where an Indominus rex fight somd mobs that come from this mod) witch could makes like ark (I don't know if you know this game but it IS the best dino survival game)in minecraft, only need a better bkte animation and other attack for me What I want to say that every mod is awesome, every mod is the best on a category I swear so I respect your opinion but I mines, all mods are increneble and can be more increneble with 1.19 to makes beautiful animation.
