My favorite Chandler moment is when he lingers in Mr. Heckles apartment and says something like "Goodbye Mr. Heckles, we'll try to keep it down up there...". He looked and sounded so sweet and handsome in that scene. Turns out, that is really who he was.

My favorite scene from Friends is when Monica and Chandler are talking to Erika about adopting her child. After Erika finds out that Monica and Chandler lied to her. She wants nothing to do with them. Chandler catches up to Erika and talks about how both of them want the child. I love when he says, "he will learn to be a good father, but Monica is already there." This shows how much Chandler loves and respects Monica and will do anything for her. Also, he was Monica's voice of reason throughout the episode. This also shows how Chandler matured through the years. Matthew Perry will be so missed!

i've always admired how effortless and natural he made his improvisations and bloopers look. like when rachel handcuffs him to the file cabinet in his office, and he turns to say something to her and accidentally whacks himself in the head with the drawer. that wasn't in the script, it just happened, but his reaction was so perfectly in character and hilarious that they kept it.

The One With The Black Out is my all time favorite Friends episode and it's because of Matthew Perry and Chandler's inner monologue that sealed it for me as my favorite. I also used to say how his and Matt LeBlanc's friendship as Joey and Chandler was a friendship that I wish I could have had because it felt so genuine and real. RIP Matthew Perry you are DEFINITELY going to be missed. Could I BE crying anymore?!

Fools Rush is one of my favourite romcoms. It was my first introduction to Matthew Perry and was blown away by his performance. I've also watched his other movies like Three to Tango, Whole Nine Yards and 17 Again. I'm devasted by his passing 😭😭💔

Same. I was 16 when the movie came out and it was an immediate favorite. I knew of him from Friends but didn't get into the show until season 8. It aired when I had after school activities or when I was working. Thank goodness for reruns and streaming services.

Fools rush in was a movie and still is a movie that made me fall in love with Mathew Perry as an actor. I knew of him in the hit show Friends but I never really took the time to get into the show. When I heard about his passing I immediately thought of his cast mates from Friends and just thought how heart broken they must be. I had no idea his father played his dad in Fools Rush In and had played in another role as his dad. Along with knowing how he wanted to help people with drug/alcohol abuse, just made my heart ache even more because the world truly lost a wonderful humble spirit. If I ever read his memoir I just know it’s gonna be hard to read whiteout crying. I’m praying that God gives his family and close friends the strength they need to get through the sad difficult time. RIP Matthew Perry, you will be terribly missed 💔😢.

Fools Rush In is one of my all time favorite movies. I watched Friends at times but I was never a big fan of the show, although I could see the cast was talented. But Fools Rush In turned me into a fan- he had incredible comic timing and the chemistry he had with Salma Hayek was amazing. R.I.P. Matthew Perry.

I had the half memory of him in a sitcom about grief, but in all the remembrance videos about him it never showed up so I thought I mistook him with someone else. I'm glad I saw that sitcom it was short but good, and he shined, much like Robin Williams last TV show it wasn't a huge hit, but you could see he was having fun in a low stakes situation. I'm sad he is gone and all we will ever have from him from now on are just memories, at the same time I'm glad for all the memories he gave us, with his acting and with his actions.

Matthew Perry's death is such a devastating one. I been devastated already with Kirby Morrow and Jason David Frank but with this it's very sad not only it is sad he died but because it's not too long after his memoir about his history of addiction which was sad to know about him. My mom and I LOVED Chandler. Hopefully he finds happiness and more smile than he did in this world. Rest Well Chandler. You reunited with Chris Farley.

Matthew was the one who got me to watch friends, because he looked almost identical to my High School boyfriend who was my first love. They also had similar genetic backgrounds, which made sense. (Irish, Scottish, and French Canadian.) They also shared an addiction to alcohol, and were funny as hell. Matthew, RIP. I loved you.

I adored him in Friends, but when I saw him on the West Wing I was blown away and I always wondered why he didn't take more dramatic roles. His comic timing was genius, but he had real talent with the drama too. I very much wished he'd stayed on the West Wing for longer. Even though Phoebe is my favorite character I can relate most to Chandler and he thought me that just be myself and how to be confident and that really good friends are always there for you. I am devastated by the passing of Matty. I never realised he was already struggling with addiction whilst filming Friends. You would never have known, he was so brilliant. I've literally cried my heart out. I struggled with alcohol due to a traumatic childhood but thankfully got sober 12 years ago. The Whole Nine Yards was hysterical and i can't even watch Friends right now as i find it too emotional. Still can't believe he's gone. The kindest most sensitive souls seem to suffer the most. Three to tango, Almost Heros and The Whole Nine yards have always been my favorite movies of his. And so his performances should not be forgotten. I also loved his guest spot on the show Who's the Boss. I think it's season 7. He always gave 110 percent in every role he played. I must admit, it's hit me hard since hearing about his death. Literally, when hearing that he died, it felt like a punch to the gut. This is a man that is and always will be surely missed.

Whenever I describe myself to people when they first meet me I always say that I am Chandler of the friend group. One liners and remarks are definately me. I think If i was younger I may have thought chandler was a little mean. But I love him as a young 20 some yr old. Friends wont be the same and neither will comedy.
