Everyone who is mad about halo 5 being on year, read this. Sure, the multiplayer is good, but halo used to be a story-based game. Then 343 happened to come along, they made the the game multiplayer-based. They also added the micro transactions. It's just that halo used to be AMAZINGLY with great story, now, it's slowly shaping up into CoD.

Halo been about the multiplayer since the very beginning. Though I will agree that the story is also a selling point, the only reason it's still relevant is the multiplayer. Of corse Microsoft has been pissing off the community for a while what with their arbitrary refusal to let the game come out on PC and the fact that they released a free-to-play version of the multiplayer... ...that is only available in Russia. -_- I think Halo has been circling the drain for a while now. It's just now the public is starting to notice.

+Gaming4Dayz I always did enjoy the campaign but it was never the reason why I kept playing Halo. Not even close. It was decent but to say it's 'amazing' seems a bit strange to me. I honestly felt somewhat underwhelmed by it. Ramping up the difficulty certainly helped the experience. But when I got into the multiplayer I couldn't stop playing it and had almost no interest at all in playing the story anymore. Sure it's a bonus if the game has a good story but tbh I would rather they focused more on polishing the multiplayer. If they could make both an amazing campaign and multiplayer then great. But honestly after buying the game it quickly became clear that it's best feature was the multiplayer by far. If I had to guess that's the case for most people who play Halo.

+Sean Walsh Campaign is always forgettable on Call Of Duty. I actually enjoyed the multiplayer and had a blast. The specialists were a great new addition. The multiplayer maps are colorful and look great. Most COD maps look black and brown and zero color or lofe to them. The Zombies mode is a lot of fun as well. They tried a lot of things and ,in my opinion, succeeded. Treyarch did an amazing job with Black Ops 3.

Fallout 4 definitely was dissopointing, but it doesn't mean it was bad. Personally it's mechanics wise and story wise one of the best to date. But it's replay ability is so freaking low it's stupid. Fallout 3 10 playthroughs, New Vegas 30 playthroughs 4 I have one. I have no need to do another playthrough and I'm sad about it.

Rainbow six seize didn't disappoint me at all, the game exceeded my expectations for a Ubisoft pic game ( I mainly played bf4 before this). The micro transaction system is not in your face at all, and it is very very very easy to earn renown ( the games currency ) . It launched with a few bugs( not game breaking bugs like bf4 at release, more of an annoyance such as after dying your player falls through the world map) but Ubisoft fixed those bugs with 4 patches in the first month of release. that's why I waited 3 weeks before purchasing. This is a very balanced tactical counter strike style shooter

For individual maps, i would recomend Tatooine at war, Suun ra desert city and Kashyyyk episode 3 map. Obviously you need the unofficial v.13 patch for this. I would reccomend to go to BattlefrontJD's channel, he uploads weekly mod content. Unfortunatly, filefront is down but gamefront and a site called modsDb aren't. JD also puts links of the mods in the description.

Assassin's Creed is like a highschool QB: a little awkward in middle school because he hasn't fully grown into his body, but he showed a lot of potential (AC1), was supremely impressive after puberty (AC2 and Brotherhood), got to college and went crazy with the freedom and got overwhelmed at the size and scope of it all (Revelations), got kicked out of school for streaking naked through the campus while piss drunk (AC3), made a shocking, successful comeback in junior college after reinventing himself (AC4BF), then finally failing again because he went back to his old ways rather than staying innovative (Unity). Syndicate was an improvement over Unity in every way, yes, but it didn't do enough to innovate like Black Flag did. Evie Frye was a good character (maybe that's my dick talking because she's bad as hell), but the guy (I can't even remember his name he was so damn boring. Jacob?) was so utterly boring I was wishing we had Arno back. The story moved really, really quickly at the start, it felt unnatural, and the historical figures felt unbelievably forced, as if they were just checking boxes. Hopefully the extra year of development time will let them make a better game.

I played mgsv soooo much the gameplay is so fucking amazing and I loved playing every second of it......I spent like 4 hours on the first mission my first time playing just trying to get a perfect stealth rank.....but that's it.....everything else is garbage the story sucks I hate all the buddy's except quiet (even tho she won't shut the fuck up hummmmm hmm) and you know what happens at the end....it was a 10/10 at some times and a 3/10 the rest.

Fallout 4 was my most disappointing game of 2015. Bethesda had taken their games to new levels every time they stepped up to a new generation of consoles, but this time they really blew it. It was boring. I tore into that game for the first week, haven't touched it since. I just found myself experiencing the same generic content over and over again. It was poorly optimized for PC, and the game engine is beyond outdated. Haven't even bothered creating texture mods for it.

Infinity Ward, the original IW that is, developed COD and COD2, and the best game in the series, COD 4: Modern Warfare. Treyarch did the lesser b-games in the series to fill in the gaps while IW were working on the more solid titles in the series. scrapie22 Pretty much, I would put it at 8 or 9 for me, nowhere near the big hitters, but it was certainly memorable. I remember a lot of the locations, one of my favorites is the buried church in the desert. The atmosphere just sold me on that so much happened here, but the result was clear. Mighty boats beached forever because of the receding tides, coral reefs now becoming mountains. All the crashed planes, reminded me of some of the really good locations in the Fallout series. It just oozed Mad Max, that was its greatest strength. Oh, and there was no hope to be found, not even close. Fallout can be hopeful, any sign of hope is utterly crushed.

I was genuinely interested in that awesome patriots story that was something new. Battlefront has made me realise that there needs to be strict regulations on DLC. It's basically robbery that we all accept. I can't believe that I'm going as far to say that this needs to be taken into consideration for regulation by government. It's a fucking joke. Before a game gets released, it should be passed through some government officials (or whatever) and tested. Just to see if the price they're asking, matches up to the content the game has. How much DLC the developer plans to release, should also be taken into consideration.

You can't expect an external authority to regulate game content if a game has little content but is overpriced then don't buy, it would be no different to any other overpriced consumer product. +DanGatoPreto Me too man. I was lucky enough to have played the game since super early closed beta. Got onto it because of some of my connections to a (now ex) european pro gamer team. Was a super fun game in my opinion and had a lot of potential but was given like 0 time by WB for the game to even get off the ground. It's like WB just expected it to get like LoL numbers right off the bat and because it didn't they shut it down. I will allways remember the game though because of my official Tee i got from an event and my Atomic Wonderwoman figure :P AWW will forever be my bae.

Fallout was good. Not as good as NV but better than 3. For the first time in a while I didn't absolutely despise my companions and they added an equip item option for companions something that I couldn't understand why it wasn't in skyrim

I play MGS for the story, so an MGS game without it is like a Mario game without the platforming. Combine this with Konami's treatment of their employees, shitty ending, and MICROTRANSACTIONS, and you have yourself a game I want to play, but morally can't allow myself to. You could apply most of what I said to summarize my opinions on Halo 5 as well.

I think it should've been Halo as 2, still with Battlefront as 1st. Halo pissed me off, but I was kinda expecting it after Halo 4, the polished turd that it was. Battlefront, however, I had high hopes of until I played the beta and saw the lack of customization (and pretty much everything else...).

No thats not it at all. I have a vast collection, of games. Nes to Game cube, Saga Saturn to PS4 and 360. I'm not hating on FPS I just think there needs to be a more veritety. There is quite a bit your right on that. I wouldn't mind see a change in pace or a game where the villain wins. Something to that nature that refreshed the FPS category. I would say that ff7 remake will do that to the rpg but I think Xenoblade Chronicles X might have a head start on them with that.

+ere rer The story was like every Mad Max film from the first one, simple but in a good way. They were never complicated, not insulting the series. I thought the car combat and extensive car customization was so great, that it would warrant it not to be on the list.

+Tyler R yeah, the premise was a bit unconvincing to me, and the story was full of tropes and cliches. i'd say it was an average video game story, nothing revolutionary. but the gameplay, the world, the atmosphere, the explosions - outstanding. as you already said, car customization was great, and that moment of pure satisfaction when you perfectly ram someone - priceless. and let us not forget max's epic beard. i'm glad to hear i'm not the only one appreciating this game.

ere rer Oh yeah, the story was not insultingly bad, just simple and kinda in the background for a while, which is accurate to the franchise. Car combat was great, I loved grabbing onto the bumper of a car with the hook, and boosting into them. Convoys were always a blast, attacking six cars was never dull. Also there is no perfect car, I swear the fully leveled up V8 is so fast, its impossible to steer, and having full armor was insanely slow. I went with a half powered V8 and no armor, but maximized everything else. And yes, the full beard is a sight for sore eyes.

+Tyler R hahah yeah. i also enjoyed fist fighting, true, it isn't original, but you know, good ideas should be copied. the problem with good ideas is not that they are copied, but that they aren't copied frequently enough. also, the storms are epic and they can bring chests with great loot. i remember one time being on low health, and the sandstorm was coming. i decided to risk it, went to the storm and found a couple of chests with great loot. instead of getting back to the car and running away, i became greedy and went for another one. i got the loot and started running toward the car. and when i was one second from entering the car something hit me. i died and lost everything. very intense moment. loved it.

ere rer YES! I love the storms, I remember when the car got destroyed, so I got out at low health, had to dodge cars to drink from the flask. Those were never, never dull, I even once ran into a minefield during a storm, didn't end well.

Heroes of might and magic is THE franchise of my childhood. John Anthony Romero's music are my favorite game soundtrack of all time. I played hundred of hours of 3, 4, 5 (and a bit 6th when that mess got patched). I had enough reasons to dislike Ubisoft's games and practises in the past. But they had to release the 7th and take a huge dump on my childhood for easy buck. Fuck you ubisoft. I will boycott every single game you are involved with in the future. You are what's wrong with modern video games, why this medium can't get taken as seriously as it deserves. Heroes 6 had a ton of issues, was dumbed down to make it a mass market game, but at LEAST the team tried to keep the spirit of the franchise, while making really uninspired changes to the 5th game's formula and taking out arguably important features of that game (town screens...). The 7th is just an abomination, simply stealing the beautiful work and designs of Nival interactive, trying to suck the last bucks out of that franchise with minimum creative efforts, without any inspiration, innovation, creativity, respect for the franchise's spirit and respect for its fans. I mean i'm bias, but imagine someone took your favorite disney film and made an insanely stupid christmas special with its characters, with horrible animation and quality, simply to make some easy money from the work of its real creators. That's how I feel with Heroes 7. Fuck you ubisoft, get your greedy hands off my favorite franchise and let real developpers make great, inspired games with it.
