I know most likely you will never see this, but I was so stunned as I was watching a video on “ the return of “Mayo”. You mentioned after mayo had badly scratched you…you mentioned Mayo was very sick and at that time you paid the vet bills for the owner…..this on top of your free grooming which has to add up to a monstrous amount of money each year. You tend to groom animals that take tremendous amount of work. I just wanted you to know how truly you are rare very rare person. In this world a person of your magnitude of kindness is not only rare…it is unheard of. No doubt you deserve all the happiness this life and the next one can bestow on you. By the way my absolute favorite is Princess Smoochie…..hope there will be more videos of her! Thank you again for being the person you are!

That moment is always great, but I extra-love it when she's able to find The Right Spot (usually up around the neck/shoulder) and you see the dog just lock up and start leaning into it with a look of pure ecstasy :D

This was just such a fun video! I recently learned about Matter of Trust, a charity (?) who take in hair donations (or fur, in this case) to felt mats to use for absorbing oil during oil spills in the ocean. I'm betting they would also enjoy a furnado!

Beautiful! Dogs marvelling at their own hair flying around them like snow, is a sight to see. It's just sad that Levi and Hank aren't with us anymore, though. Smoochie looked as if Vanessa pulled entire little dogs out of her coat.

Princess Smoochie is recent enough I remember watching and being gobsmacked at how much hair came off. Particularly the instances where you just reached over to (gently) pull a huge swatch of the stuff free!

This video was awesome!!! I've never seen that much fur. The Great Pyrenees was so fun, seeing all that pink skin hiding under there. Most of the dogs seemed to really like their neck areas done. I bet they all felt like a million bucks.

I remember working at Petco, in the Salon of course, and helping with a Keeshond I think it was, anyway it was a triple coated dog. After the blowdry I had to clean the salon area and the fur off this small dog filled our medium size shopvac. I had to vac the ceiling! The fur was literally everywhere, including our mouths and eyelashes! Great dog but what a mess!

Aww, this was so fun to see. I think I've said this before, but I am SO glad you wear that hat to protect your airways and lungs from (at least, a majority) of the dog hair. It's a brilliant idea. I think Nala cracked me up the most, since she's so expressive. I may just be forgetting, but I'm not sure if I ever saw the original Finnish Laphund video - wow, what a cute dog that is!! (Wikipedia says they were used to herd reindeer. 😯) And Princess Smoochie takes the crown, - it's funny that you just recently groomed her. Ugh, I just love all of them!!! My old lab mix (no idea what his mix was, this was back before the DNA tests were relatively affordable) would have given all these a run for their money. I could work him over with brushes, de-shedders and whatever else for about 30 minutes and create a small mountain of fur in my backyard. Then not less than 30 minutes later find clumps of fur in the house. He was a shedding machine. Even after taking him for grooming.

I had a great Pyrenees and she lived to 14, so not surprised with the amount of hair. Because in my household, there was hair everywhere in your food on your clothing and oh my God if I didn’t vacuum every day, it looked like you hadn’t vacuumed for a week if you missed one day.. I had a sign at my door that said no outfit is complete without dog hair. Thanks for sharing.
