Cute boy. This breed is very protective and will bite you and other dogs and are up there with pitbulls and rotts.

Thank you for explaining they are guard dogs. People think they are cute and cuddly because of the movie. They are only cuddly with their family. Fierce and loyal.. the smartest dog I ever had was a dalmatian. The first 2 years they are escape artists! If you can survive that adventure, you will have a devoted dog for life.

My Dalmatian Sadie (1988-2002) was fortunately completely normal, and the Valedictorian of her obedience class. She loved running and splashing through the lake near my old apartment, but also sleeping on the couch and oh yes, eating. And she didn't like baths at all. I doubt I will ever have a better pet.

It would be fun to see a vid where they use your products on your hair, as a novelty... Might also be good marketing...

I have only ever known one Dalmatian, but he was the sweetest dog. His owner had two nieces who would put dresses on him and have tea parties with him and he adored them.

What? No "happy Hoodie" for the dry? This is fun content for an occasional change. It shows depth. Keep doing this occasionally. Find other areas of life to keep broadening the scope. Bravo!

As a child I never cared for the movie 101 Dalmatians, but I do love this breed and not because of the movie. I just find them to be so beautiful. If I could ever afford to get one, I will make sure I find a reputable breeder.

Oh what a good girl! Well behaved for the groom. Great with the shampoo, blow dry and brushing. Not a whimper. Not shedding today. Stayed nice for the hair style. She even loved the spritz. ❤

Always wanted one, but especially after 99 Dalmatians lol. My friend had one that they kept locked in a kitchen and barely paid attention to. I’d spend hours with Georgie ❤

Maybe if you hadn't made fun of him as soon as he came through the door, he would have cooperated more. He'd lost 8 pounds when you did this video. That's a big deal for a cat. Show a little respect!

I met an American Akita in a beer garden here in the UK a few years ago when the pubs reopened briefly between lockdowns. He was awesome. For some reason, out of the relatively large group of people at our table, which the owner (though I didn't personally know him) was a part of, he chose me as one of the few people he'd tolerate being stroked by. No idea why, but I felt honoured and duly wasted hours making a fuss of him instead of catching up with my mates. Ended up falling asleep with his head on my lap. The owner even said he'd never seen his dog take to someone like that before. Probably wouldn't trust one around kids though. He was extremely well-trained and well-behaved, but if he went for you, you wouldn't stand a chance in hell, even with the owner there. Absolutely gorgeous dogs, but unbelievably powerful.

I'm glad everyone in the comments is having fun but this is honestly depressing to me. Not to get too morbid but that cat is a good indicator as to why we've basically stalled in terms of development as a species right now: we have the production capabilities and technology to ensure that even our pets can eat as much as they want, whenever they want... But those conveniences have made us so lazy and morally absent that we just let them get obese and die. Having opportunities and wealth doesn't mean a damn thing if we don't have any values to guide us.

My dad had a dog of this bread named Bear when he was younger, some bullies followed him home from school and were harassing him and Bear broke through the front window and chased them off. Super protective.
