Anti scientism is already rampant, so that’s nothing new at all. For all of human history, the human primate has predominantly been ignorant of the actual, material reality and believed (I stress the word “belief” here) all kinds and sorts of absolutely ridiculous and claims and delusions. And not even innocent life forms are kept safe from individual & collective human stupidity, superstitiousness and delusions. The claim that certain cats with certain fur colours will and do behave in certain ways has no correlation with or basis in objective reality. It’s just fur colour. You can be skeptical which is good, but you can’t make claims as if you have scientifically observed, tested and empirically proven anything.
