DK brought me to the game and has kept me here ever since. She will always be first love. Nova unvealing was amazing and was worth the hype. Shes a solid class no matter what you get into with her. Drakania blew my mind and is so much fun to grind with. Shes badass at flying like lahn and can quickly get to mobs far away. I think Shai is a given for every player new and old. Shes the OP of lifeskilling and she is fun to surf around town. Great video btw!

Lahn deserves a mention I think, very agile, lots of movement and it all feels really smooth, jumping around and spinning to dismantle packs of mobs.

the fact that lahn aint on here but striker is when striker is just strong not fun is crazy. striker just really op not exciting mystic is weaker but actually fun and satifying

Oh, hell yes. I can't believe Lahn didn't make the list. I was wishy-washy about her, and wasn't sure I'd like her. The only reason I made one was because another KZbinr said, "everyone should try Lahn at least once." And boy, am I glad I listened to that advice. Climbing up a mountain and jumping off is the most amazing and fun thing, and none of the other classes can do it. Drakania can't go too far off the ground, and Woosa hops skips through the air. But Lahn? Lahn fucking _flies._

I came back to the game recently and I kinda regret creating a Woosa rather than a Lahn again. Woosa is great, but Lahn might as well be my favorite class in any RPG, be it singleplayer or MMO.

I'm a sorc main, and I've been drawn to her since I've started playing the game 4 years ago. Spinning around in a violet haze like a top, hoisting herself up into the air, and downsmashing a giant ball of magic on everyone just puts a smile on my face. And Cartian's Nightmare is so much fun as well.

My first class, many many years ago, was a Valkyrie. I have most other classes leveled and I still prefer my valk. Dunno if it's bias from it being my first or if she just suits me. But yea, Valk is the clear number one for me.

I started playing a month ago. As a Beserker, I haven't met anything I couldn't kill yet. Pvp is a little rough because I'm a gigantic target. But pve wise the only thing I'm actually hesitant on fight is dragons. But I won't back down lol

In my opinion, best satisfying classes are: Ninja awk (very imersive skills) Sorc awk (this class completly follow your fingers, if u have fast fingers, she will follow u. Woosa has heavy damage and cool animations. Striker/mystic u need high end gear, but man, when u got it, u Will feel like a god, punch and tank!!! #peace

I put Dark Knight as #1, my main character since 2017 😌. #2 Shai, #3 Corsair. My favorite trio.

Top three has got to be Nova, Woosa, and Shai. I'm a tad disappointed Nova isn't even on the list, let alone within the top 5. She has it all, tankiness to survive the hardest of hits and the speed to deal incredible amounts of DMG. Not to mention she literally has black holes that trap enemies. Switching between her main and awakening skills is super fun and keeps grinding interesting. It can also change up a duel in pvp if the other person isn't expecting it. Woosa is the most fun I've had playing a character since rolling Nova. She's sturdy and fluid. Her attacks are pretty without being too much (I like to see what's happening lol) I especially love her movement skill. You can jump off mountains with that thing and not take any damage. In a more practical sense, it helps get to enemies faster. And Shai... Well I enjoy life skilling but there's just something so satisfying about killing giant monsters with a tiny girl with nothing more than a boomerang. Plus playing a flute is cool.

Played sage both specs, striker both specs, and now musa... they are all gun. And my life skiller has always been a shai. One thing i really hate about this game is the fear of missing out and how you want to play all classes simultanously

Between sage and Musa which one do you feel it's better right now? PvE wise. I got lvl 62 on season and might use to get Musa 62 as well. Already have one Musa 59 but I gave up years ago because back then Musa was bad.

@@SirMitsuruji5 you asked the wrong guy. Im the biggest FOMO (fear of missing out). Sage is good now, eapecially high end grind spots. MUSA similarly is the same. Depends if you wanna play stamina melee or ranged mana. I remember Sage you needed to perform rotations. Especially awakened. For musa so far you needed to understand that you need to click a specific ability between 2-3 attacks so its kinda free style. Both were amazing experiences tbh. So go with what you like because the difference in money/hr is minimal. NOTE. Musa is faster in game play

i personally wouldn't put classes like kuno/ninja, striker/mystic and archer/ranger together. they are such different classes in both awakening and succession

i've been a striker main since 2018, before i stopped playing BDO in 2021, and i just got back to BDO in dec 2022, and since then my built-in muscle memory on "how to play striker", been messed up by a single swap input, A/D + C swap become mass destruction (a valuable skill coz it has lingering super armor) instead of triple flying kick.. everything is the same except for that single swap input, lmao.. but i had ditch striker coz he made my brain melted, and embracing awk valk now.. with her magnus skill slapping giant-ass swords to the enemy, it's really satisfying to watch.. even tho i still miss my striker's grab-and-drag skill (3/10 damage, 12/10 style).. if only valk can also do that with her lancia's, oh well..

I had the most fun on berserker awakening and corsair and ninja awakening. But i haven't tried every class yet. Currently leveling drakania, it's pretty lame pre awakening.

​@@murataydn1823I main both , My favorite is DK , she is good at both PVE and PVP. She is fun , fast , beginner friendly also. I have ran her and woosa in end game gear and I felt DK definitely performed much better. Woosa is really good for PVE but her PVP game is alil weak sadly. She is also a higher learning curve but definitely a fun class as well. Awk DK for PVE which it's also decent for pvp but Succ DK has a really strong PVP game. Succ just lacks the aoes to get a super fast successful grind when grinding. There are some but not as many. I learned her in both Succ and Awk because both where very strong at different things.

Nova is a great choice. She's a pretty slow class all things considering, but is quick to learn. She's *the* shield class so it's easy to tank enemies. She's also heavy on aoe attacks, and while definitely a melee class, some of her skills get a good amount of range. And if you're interested in pvp, her awakening is super fun. She turns into a completely different character, forgoing her shield and morningstar for a rapier. She's super fast and a lot of fun. I enjoy being able to switch between such different playstyles within one fight to best suit the enemies I'm dealing with. The newest classes are really great too, but they don't having awakenings yet. Woosa is the most fun with a new character that I've had in a long time. She's a sturdy melee character with a lot of AOE. She doesn't have great movement, but her kit feels extremely fluid. Her sister, Maegu has more mobility and even greater aoe potential but the trade off is she's much squishier. The best advice I can give is to find a few classes you think look interesting, and then create trial characters until you find the one you want to start out with. You can always make the others later :)

@@Gunter_r that's right, which is why I suggested you try them out on trial first :) There's ways to level characters up to 60 without too much investment (Season/Olivia servers, Duvencrune starting area.) I definitely would use the Olivia servers when you have them, and create a season character whenever you can. They make leveling up way faster. Our current season ends April 19th. I would stay away from the second starting area, at least until you've had the chance to explore the main questline. And you actually can end up with a lot of different character slots, so don't feel restricted to only trying a few. If you ever run out, you can buy more in the Loyalties section of the shop for 10,000. You get loyalties just by playing :)

You're going to hear this over and over again in Black Desert. It sounds like a cop out answer, but it really isn't: Just play whatever class you want. All of them have strengths and weaknesses that can easily maintain balance with all of the other ones within the game. I originally mained a Ranger for about a year, and the only reason I picked her was because there were only 4 classes available back then, and long-range weapons seemed like a wise choice for PvP. But I gave up on her and main Sorceress instead. I just leveled her up to 62 a few days ago, and I'm so proud of her. She's got flaws, but it's the only class I feel comfortable and happiest playing. It's _that_ kind of motivation that pushes you to be great. Eventually, what you really want to play will come out in the end.

Hey Jansen! They all play very differently, it’s hard to say! My personal fav is Valkyrie, but that’s like a paladin. Ninja is super fun, wizard and ranger are really fun to me but many people in the comments here would disagree lol. Maybe you can tell me what you’re looking for? At the end of the day, whatever speaks out to you is what you should try first. You can always Errol your class, and in this game, it can be highly effective to have two characters using their energy at different times. Every family of characters should include a shai for lifeskilling too. If you wanna be a pirate, Corsair😆
