Cassie Thomas in Promising Young Women not only manages to avenge her best friend but also gets revenge on the same men who kill her all beyond the grave. The arrest of the man who killed her at his own wedding is one of the most satisfying endings of a film that I've seen in a long time.

The actress who played Chris in the 70s version said in an interview when she was older that she had a hard time playing that role as it was hard for her be that mean. At one point for a scene one of her co-stars had to step on her foot for her to say some lines in a type of tone. Also the actress who played Chris in the newest remake also had a hard time in that role and had a hard time filming that shower scene but she also said that she was looking forward to filming her death scene. I think she said that there are some scenes in remakes that you have to get just right and Chris's death and the Prom were 2 of those.

The prom scene in _Carrie_ is my absolute favorite on this list. As soon as you hear those chords from _Psycho_ and see the unhinged look in her eyes, your blood runs cold in the best way. It's one of the most infamous and satisfying moments in all of Stephen King's library. A home run on the King of Horror's very first try.

Inigo's line was also very cathartic for Mandy Patinkin, since he had lost his father not long before the shooting of the film, and that line was not only Inigo Montoya talking to Rugen, but also Patinkin talking to the cancer that had killed his dad.

I'd say both Kathryn AND Sebastian got what they deserved at the end. Sebastian was no innocent hero, he doesn't get to be redeemed just because he fell in love with Annette. He and Kathryn were cut from the same cloth.

It may be predictable and formulaic but the last 10 or 15 minutes of Enough is great revenge. Not only does Slim get to beat the ever-loving h-l out of her cheating, abusive, criminal husband, but she is able to maneuver the battle ground before the fight and to plant evidence in case she doesn’t survive or she does but once again they side with the husband. Plus, ya know… the ending.

There were a lot of crimes on this list. I think my favorite is that you had Shawshank at #10. Andy doesn’t just get revenge on the Warden, he gets revenge on Hadley who was an a$$hole to EVERYBODY in the prison. So he literally gets revenge on behalf of EVERY prisoner.

It's not a movie, but "Game of Thrones" did revenge like no one else. In fact, you could do a Top 10 list of the best revenge moments just from GoT. (If you haven't already.) Arya and Walder Frey. Oberyn and the Mountain. (Even though that didn't end well for Oberyn, the Mountain didn't get away unscathed.) Ellaria Sand and Myrcella. (Not that Myrcella deserved it, but it was the ultimate revenge against Cersei.) Sansa and Ramsay. Tyrion and his father. The Starks and Little Finger. And, of course, Lady Olenna. "Tell Cersei. I want her to know it was me." You'd probably have to do a Top 20!

I grew up right across the street from the Shawshank Redemption prison. I watched them film the movie. The famous tree was hit by lightning a few years ago and isn't there anymore. The rain scenes are real, we had a heck of a storm

It’s one of the most satisfying yet disturbing moments in a movie where a sexual predator gets the worst punishment by someone to lose his partner and child to the monster who got the easier sentence when he deserved life in prison, and his partner who only wanted to rob the main character’s home got the death sentence, whom also got a harsh yet easier comeuppance. Clyde Alexander Shelton, played by Gerard Butler, spends a decade plotting then hunting down Rupert Ames and the biggest pig, Clarence Darby. After switching painless lethal injection with a painful chemical, he goes after Darby by completely paralyzing but leaving him to still feel everything, and, well watch it if you can stomach it up.

The movie absolutely and positivity creep you out I guarantee it.😅😏😰😱 The movie is memorable, iconic, and well-known due to it's story, practical effects, direction, and performance's. Midsommar's act of vengeance is as black and white as this video made it out to be. The cult manipulated events and used Dani and Christian's dying relationship as a means to an end. I'm not saying Christian wasn't a POS for how he treated Dani but the cult knew how emtionally vulnerable Dani was and used her fractured psyche to get what they needed: a new member of their "family" and the perfect sperm donor/sacrifice
