Really it comes down to when to use it and when it doesn't matter. For this video I wouldn't say it matters. The other one I just watched which was more of a suggestive video of WHAT to play used a lot of gameplay which was efficient. Gameplay is also a search away if you REALLY needed it.

MMO is a dead genre they aren't cost efficient. WoW only ever was as amazing as it was because it had a monopoly on the market and nothing to compare to. MMO's are EXPENSIVE to make and operate so they aren't as profitable as current big games like MOBA's or FPS. MMO is dead and will never come back until virtual reality gets sophisticated enough that you can get fully immersed into virtual reality the way you see in animes.

@Carsten...
@Carsten... 4 жыл бұрын
@@meganclare7 basically all maps 1-79 are core games maps, so they are from the games launch (with a few events added since), so I'd lvl up with the mindset of it being a tutorial - the lvl 80 maps are much more engaging and really show how far the studio has come in map design since. Maybe look into a few vids so you are reasonably comfortable you picked a good 'main class', personally my favorotes are Guardian (tanky fire paladin) and Mesmer (illusionary teleportation mage), but my girlfriend loves her elementalist (fire+water+air+earth mage, but kinda demandimg so not a good starting toon in my opinion unless your used to keyboard piano classes). Also at 80 your classes get much more depth tp them as you can further 'elite specialize' which depending on class might completely change its playstyle. If you buy the game I recommend you use your 80 booster on a character you are pretty sure you will want to play, then immediately go do the first mission for each expansion, that way you unlock the glider and first mount (raptor). After you have them go back to your low lvl 'main' and lvl it up to get a good grip on the core mechanics (once a mount and glider is unlocked its available on all characters regardless of lvl), you will have a much nicer lvling experience! Perhaps do this after you've lvled your 'main to 10-20ish so you know the buttons at least before doing those missions or it will be hard.

Damn, I miss the old Maplestory... It's the most nostalgic game for me. Back before Big Bang update which uncapped the 99,999 dmg, where it took MONTH to get to level 30, where you could party quest without track and autoclicker at Kerning City, when people would afk and flex their NX or ask to trade fame. Back when everyone just socialized, went on adventures to amoria to see people get married or to Aqua Road to experience swimming for the first time, back where people actually stayed on Maple Island to try to get level 30 or where you randomly saw really high leveled beginners who never picked a class. Even when people discovered dexless assasins or that New Leaf City Boomer monster duplication glitch. People used to just hang out at Henesys lobby, play Omok and the matching card game, and when you had to hide inside the cabin of the ship from Balrog on the way to Orbis, just back where everyone didn't care much about power leveling or who had the best damage... it’s sad I’ll never get to experience something like that ever again... I miss it a lot...

Check your facts. > they now release content more frequently than they used to I can't say anything about that as I quit gw2 around 9 months ago, but by the time I quit, the game was getting updated at a crawling pace and most new stuff was just things for Gem Store. The secret to Swtor being better in combat is a button-mash/priority macro setup that would allow you to move your skills around on a hotbar. The rotation is now the challenge as is your skill in programing this. Mix this with actual manual hotkey presses. This is when it's fun. The animations start to shine now and you can really pull off some sick moves. Supposedly this is all good with end user agreement too "One Button, One Action". ...but I guess that would work with anything.

I always seem to leave a beloved game right before this happens because you can just see it coming. gw2 has already hit its peak sad to say. BDO is beautiful, complete, has so much to do - probably more than any other major MMO .... however, the endgame PvP is basically pay2win as top tier gear is a full time day job to grind for months, only to see it break, where players can just pay to avoid half of the headaches. For that reason, I think ESO is on top of the market right now for that type of MMO (type being, good graphics, complete sandbox-ish MMO that isnt WoW)

- GW2: It has flaws. All of which mechanical, not philosophical. The most major one is the lack of collision which makes WvW a joke. Another minor one is that the "dodge" is an "immunity sura" rather than an actual physical dodge. I also dislike how most older specs become obsolete with new expansions and if happened to enjoy an old spec and try to stick with it in the newest expansion, you'll probably suffer in pvp. Very fun game, if you like freedom of choice and schedule. One of the few mmos that im having fun in the moment. - ESO: Theres only one flaw, which i didnt mind when i played say... Oblivion, but now it annoys me very much. And that is the horrible animations and movement. The fights look like ...robots, with parkinson's, sliding on ice, trying to guard their opponent in a basketball match on NBA Live 2000. Though i really love exploration in this game. - SWTOR: Not many flaws. Just.. way too many abilities. wtf i want to relax and escape, not play the piano while high on coke. The stories are excellent. And i actually like the simple graphics. Very underrated game. - FFXIV: Pretty, good story, and i like the housing. Too many filler abilities almost-douplicate abilities for the sake of having many abilities. Abilities that hold your hand with combo/followup-mechanics. Too many cooldowns as well. And it has very few abilities that are trully cool and fun. Cant be arsed to follow the story cause most content including main questlines are not voiced over. The most boring questing in any AAA mmo, you just travel from place to place and talk to silent and still npcs, and i honestly never died once while leveling to max level... yawn. The world while beautiful, is pointless with nothing to explore/find. PvP is a joke. PvE is nice, and most raids are very fun. Housing is awesome. If you buy a boost to max level and ignore pvp, you'll love it. - WoW: Half classes can be played by a monkey while the other half have way too many abilities and cooldowns. The story has gone to shit since Varian/Voljin died. Used to be a fan of the hectic gameplay but not anymore, im too old. World is nice, PvE is nice, PvP is okay, but their philosophy is pushing half the people away (no freedom) while forcing others to play a little bit every day non stop (routine) with strictly "incentivized" progression and little actual choice in what you do while online. Turning WoW from a game into a job. I havent played the rest from this list, so i cant comment on them.

I will warn anyone considering ESO that the lag issues are really defining the game experience right now. I play mostly PvP and the lag in Cyrodiil Grey Host is borderline unplayable, even on week nights. You don't know which abilities are cast, which ones are not, which ones are just lagged out...it's a disaster. I spend 20 seconds taking no damage and dealing no damage, then everything hits me all at once and I kill two people and die. I do not PvE that much, but my friends that are big into raiding said that lag has also started to pop up in the big raids. The issues have been known and brought up numerous times and ZOS does nothing to fix it. Instead, they create more gear sets and dungeons. Ironically, I think some of the issue is the prevalence of AoE effects from abilities, combined with AoE effects from gear. It's basically just an overload on the servers when you have a big group and everyone is causing some sort of an AoE effect.

I wish Rift still had active player base. It was the only MMO I can think of that could compete with World of Warcraft at the time. I loved the random rifts that would pop up and bring a bunch of people to the same location to fight off waves of enemies followed by a boss. The dungeons were really fun and the soul system for the classes was unreal opening up tons of different ways you could play your class.

Hey I've been playing FXIV for 6 years now. Starting a channel (my first one) any advice?
@DavidJMunoz-kn2qh
@DavidJMunoz-kn2qh 4 жыл бұрын
I don't have a channel, but what I did saw from other channels and have been working for them is: 1. Find one theme or content you like and stick with it (You will be recognized for that content and if it hits the ranks and you grow your audience, that theme will help you get to different content later.) Like Pewdiepie, who make an audience playing horror games, and later on, he is able to make different content with the same audience. Is harder than say it, of course. 2. Don't make promises, but if you make them, deliver. Do your thing and gain your audience. 3. Entertain. People stay in a video when something makes them laugh, or makes them be very very interested in what you're streaming. Whether is because you're telling very good jokes while you stream, your attitude and voice towards recording yourself, or because you're very good at what you do in-game (If videogames).

@@lolosh99 WoW's community is one of the worst cause most of the nice people have moved on and most of the players left are try hards that have been playing for ages and only keep playing to show off their level and gear... so when you get to a dungeon with them they flame you all the time if you don't run as fast as possible... so yeah... having fun with others is WoW is a possibility but not very probable...

I can't fully agree, but I also only play casually and never play the raid scene, except for LFR. I think I have had less than ten toxic interactions over the past year. With the majority of them centered around current content raiding. If you are referring to raiding or mythic dungeons, then I can understand the perspective. However, since I don't really participate in major raids, I don't see that toxicity. Ultimately, if you aren't playing to play hardcore endgame content then it shouldn't be that bad. At least it hasn't been for me. :P

@@Brandon-yd3rk I like the world itself. So instead of basing my entire experience on just what end game provides, I go explore parts I didn't get a chance to in the past. Before I would be rushing to max level and skipping out on side stories and parts of the world that I didn't know existed. I never played during MoP or WoD, so I want to explore those. Not mention I have plenty of classes I still haven't leveled. But to be honest I haven't sunk thousands of hours into the game, so of course there is still plenty for me to do.
