When I made my first quilt almost 70 years ago, there was one fabric option.....scrap leftovers from making clothes. Later on a second option if you could afford to buy fabric just to make a quilt.....a print, a colored solid and white or muslin. And now, with your patterns and inspirations plus the variety of fabric available, white and/or a solid color is the exception, not the rule. Thanks so much for freeing up our imaginations!

Hi Patty! Thanks so much for watching 🥰 The finished size will vary slightly based on the pattern, but most of our patterns finish at 45" x 60" but can be upsized to a twin or queen/king with additional yardage.

I have made 44 three-yard quilts in the past three years. The first one was "It's a Snap". I have made Town Square 9 times. Most of them are charity quilts and a lot of quilts for babies and neighbors.

This was fun, I love seeing all the new kits in the old patterns. My top guess ended up being #3 - Town Square. It's the first pattern I made and it will always be #1 in my heart.

The Carousel pattern - I know those blocks as Patience blocks and they are an easy one to make. Isn't it amazing how the same quilt blocks can have different names in different regions.

You could. But of course the 3 yards wouldn't work out evenly. You definitely need more of the background color.
