that "hypocrisy" has nothing to do with MLK and will have absolutely no effect on his legacy. take your stupidity and ridiculous agenda elsewhere.

(ಠ_ಠ) What I meant is that MLK spoke for peace and awareness while BLM speaks for hatred and hypocrisy. MLK had a unique and beautiful approach while BLM completely destroys true purpose. Stop having a tantrum.

An injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere! MLK My personal favorite Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. quote.
@michaelsandoval72698 жыл бұрын
He was really a great man, and his words really do move me. I think it's amazing how, we as humans, still suffer some of the same issues that we had all those years ago. Sure, we don't have slavery, or segregate, but we still practice some of the same problems that we had back then. We shouldn't hate, we should love our neighbor!

The problem with modern movements are that they no longer have a central leader that defines what their movement is about. This breeds extremists being able to overpower the original message because no one has anyone else to look to as a source.
@nelsonw94838 жыл бұрын
Wafflerofl Agreed. Times have changed. Nowadays, all these movements have becom excuses for bigots to spew their hatred. Just look what happened to feminism. It's nothing like it once was, and it's now filled with hateful, sexist, and self-victimizing women, and male white knights trying to get approvals.

Nelson W. You're using MLK as shaming tactic to pacify black peoples discontent with the American government go fuck yourself.
@youtubeusername37898 жыл бұрын
Wafflerofl no you're wrong, every movement in human history has had extremist, hell even mlk jr was accused of incited riots, now that he's dead, you white people have painted him out to be this passive guy that just wanted to hold hands with white people when he spoke out against the systemic racism that plagues our society, Mlk jr once said, riots out the language of the unheard, MLK jr would of supported BLM and you fucks would of arrested him

I’m a shy girl. I don’t know why I took debate in my freshman year. (Either way my dumb school got rid of it, halfway through the year, so I never finished it.) But we had to recite a speech and I choose to do a excerpt from Martin Luther King Jr’s ‘I have a dream’ speech. I wasn’t supposed to though, because his speech was actually the example for the project that our teacher showed, so we weren’t supposed to do the example. But I was absent and had already started so I was the only exception. It was such a good speech and so hard to cut down on... but I did it. I did it in front of my class.
