not saying i wanted giorno to be the one to defeat pucci(i like that emporio using the stand disk stand to brutally kill pucci was a cool way of defeating a man who became a personification of dio's will that attempted to wipe any existence of the joestars from the face of the earth.) and despite knowing them enough i can see why they weren't involved in the story(yeah he sent koichi to make sure he wasn't dangerous but didn't personally meet him at all.) i still wish giorno's group(since it's mentioned giorno was one of dio's sons that his bone called to florida.),joseph and shizuka(it feels weird that joseph didn't come to help his grandaughter considering what he's done for his daughter,son & grandson, shizuka couldve really helped with her invisibility and joseph is mentioned to still be alive in part 6 just more senile.) & the part 4 gang(josuke,okuyasu,rohan,koichi,yukako,) had gotten involved in part 6.

The distribution was the problem, many hated part 5 but you can't look at the David production work and call it ugly. The same thing will happen with stone ocean. The only exception thus far was sbr because they got the best color version and really quickly, many fans read that at first and it was another league even without considering the writing of each part

Yeah, so he can close the distance to an enemy with Star Platinum first, engage, and then run up to it. Also, I guess NWR doesn't know that Stands can be used to augment the speed and mobility of the wielder. It's shown in his fight against Dio, that Jotaro can launch himself through the air far further than any human could naturally do, and somehow even change direction mid-air.

@@NewWorldReview With enough pain you can actually wake the victim up, in theory it's actually really powerful but when you take a closer look at it, death 13 is not a fully developed stand. Most of the features of the stand seem riddled with inconsistencies and shortcomings, which is perfect considering that the user is a baby. Araki is a true genius when it comes to developing limits for characters.

Agreed but I think the fact death 13s activation is an instant win against any other character in the show gives it it's position. It's a perfect assassination stand. Though I am interested if king crimson could warn it's other personality about the danger because of how closely linked they are.

Elite Salad Death 13’s powers are big and flashy, but it lacks control. On a non stand user, yes, it’s unbeatable, but the same can be said for any stand capable of attacking. Against a competent stand user though? It has a lot of issues. The biggest is that it can’t exclude stands from its world. This is made an even bigger problem because it can’t tell the difference between a real stand and an illusory one it created. It also has no means of controlling the actions of victims. It can’t force a victim to remain asleep, so if it wants to execute discretely, there’s a high likelihood the victim will be woken up before they die. It also can’t stop victims from marking themselves to warn themself and others, which is dangerous because it can’t protect its user’s body. Man in the Mirror is better than Death 13 in every way. It can exclude who or what enters it world, can keep them there, can protect its user, and can attack at any time with almost no setup. The moment Hierophant Green entered Death 13’s dream world, it had lost. Moody Blues entered Man in the Mirror’s world and ambushed the user, but MitM was able to easily counter the intrusion into its world. Death 13 puts too much of its energy into fear and spectacle.

The problem is you need to figure that out before you meet a character, take on their story and have your soul separated from your body. Weather was extraordinarily lucky that he had a Vincent Van Gough to draw his character for him. If not for that incredible factor, Bohemian Rhapsody would have obliterated them.

While I agree Hey Ya! is an incredibly powerful Stand, it’s not necessarily for the reason you think. While I personally disagree on its luck ability, I’m not going to argue that because I think it’s purposely left up in the air. But what isn’t debatable is the fact that Hey Ya! clearly has the ability of limited precognition, in that it can foresee the most optimal path for Pocoloco to take before it even happens. This is an incredible power that if used correctly could make it one of the most powerful Stands in the series. But I think the point of Hey Ya! is that, much like its user, it chooses not to make full use of its abilities and is fine with doing the bare minimum.

exactly, i think Hey Ya! can (most of the time) forsee the best path for Pocoloco to take, even if it isn't necessarily a "good" fortune, it's still better than what would come from any other decision Pocoloco could make. Pocoloco's luck is separate, but it aids Hey Ya by making the best path, not just better than others, but incredibly amazing.

I think the luck power would be more broken, because the the one you mentioned is basically Dragon's dream but only for defence and if your stand has to tell you were to go you can get blitzed in the middle of that sentence but if you just had all the luck you can have you'd be able to escape death from almost any stand except for most of the ones on the list.

GER also cannot kill the green baby as GER's ability is to return things to zero when giorno is being attacked. However, when Giorno is chasing green baby he is not getting attacked and he will still get smaller. Even if GER consider turning Giorno smaller as an attack, the time will be reversed to when Giorno was still at his original size and the green baby is still the same distance from Giorno at the start. Hence, Giorno can never reach the green baby

Yomamacup GER isn’t activated by Giorno being attacked. GER isn’t a reactive, automatic stand. GER is sentient, and while it acts on Giorno’s behalf, it doesn’t even need him to be conscious of what’s happening to act. It can use its power freely, it doesn’t have any activation conditions other than GE having the arrow inside of it. It would return the green baby to before its stand activated and lock it in that moment. It can never activate its stand. It will never reach that reality.

The point this is trying to make is that subliminal messaging can lead to physical effects, so just multiply that idea by a factor of JoJo and you get subliminal messaging turns you into snails. Yes it’s a leap in logic, but so is the raining frogs thing, so it’s not like this is unprecedented in this Stand alone.

Heaven's Door and King Crimson need a spot on this list. We dont know much about HD's limitations but consider how Rohan "evolved" during Part 4. When he was first revealed he needed a fan to look at his manuscript page to activate HD, but by the end of if he can just spawn him like any stand and yes, mabye there needs to be some about of affinity between Rohan and the victim for HD to work, but it's still an incredible stand. Not world shattering, not insane reality breaking ability, just an absolute effect you dont have any way to fight against besides stop it from happening. As for King Crimson, well.... It just works. It never gets old.

Like that time when DIO was stopping time but Jotaro punched him during the startup.

@@notorioushkm97 that's basically what i though as when giorno and ascended dio's stands punched it looked more like they cancelled each other out and dio taking advantage of the stalemate than one being stronger(being able to rewrite reality is kinda implied to be what made in heaven would've done to dio if pucci had been able to rework his death. and it would be a parallel counter to ger's ability to create/reset things to zero as dio's shown to have a greater use of the worlds time stop so compared to tusk act. 4 where the world no selled it as well as funny valentines dirty deed done cheap when dio went after him when he told the joestars the world over heaven's weakness. the fact that ascended dio was still himself vulnerable to other stands and it's more his stand needed to touch an being to rewrite reality as well as jotaro learning it due to it being the world with him rewriting the universe to have everyone know & potentially change their fates kinda makes over heaven a mix of the world,d4c,& a stronger made in heaven due to being activated the same way just having the 36 sinners the stand absorbed be eyes of heaven's playable characters rather than random prisoners.)

I’ve been of the mind that Death 13, besides being able to be somewhat strong at killing, could also be a strong support stand. Think of it like this, if someone is badly hurt and fall asleep, just like how Death 13 made it so Kakyoin’s cuts no longer existed, it could also revert them to how they were. It’s no Crazy Diamond, Gold Experience, or Cream Starter, but it definitely should have that capability to heal and perhaps strengthen any allies during their time in the dream world for when they wake up.

It’s has been confirmed that Hey Ya does not make Pocoloco lucky. Pocoloco is lucky on his own. Hey Ya’s power is foresight, it knows future events and warns Pocoloco, which is a great power, probably better than Death 13 in fact, but not better than say...King Crimson, which uses Epitaph to show the future to Diavolo/Doppio directly, as well as it’s time skipping power.

I think the only "weakness" of GER is that Giorno can't use the reset on his own behalf. It's a passive ability that GER uses if Giorno is attacked by someone.

I think Heavens Door is the most powerful stand due to its ability I mean think about it if Rohan wanted to stop time he could write in himself “Rohan Kishibe can stop time” and he can stop time part 4 could’ve been over quickly if Rohan just wrote in himself or one of the motion gang “knows where Yoshikage Kira is at all times”. If Rohan ever fought against GER he could write in Giorno “GER’s ability has no effect on Rohan Kishibe” and “Giorno cannot attack Rohan Kishibe” effectively making GER useless on him. He could also heal peoples illnesses by writing in them that they no longer suffer from it. If he ever breaks a bone he could just write “My bone will repair fully in 3 minutes” or something. Rohan has the ability to make whatever he wants true and give himself any ability

I find it odd that you state the reason Tusk act 4 is lower on the list is due to its difficulty to achieve but Golden Experience Requiem has a limited time to be used and can only be used with the Scarab arrow. If we’re talking about raw power purely based on ability then Tusk should be second if not first. If we’re bringing in ability to be used/difficulty to be used, a lot of these stands would fall off the list. Also the World’s abilities would also surpass Star Platinum, the only reason Dio lost was do to his arrogance and Jotaro’s luck.

Common Misconception people have about the range. The 2 meters is the effective range, most stands can go farther, but lose strength and accuracy. In very few cases do stands have a set range they can't leave like echoes act 2.

I don't really agree with death 13 being on the list because while being seemingly invincible it has a very heavy condition, the adversary must be asleep, and when your target is asleep you can just kill them in any other way. A knife would be much easier. Using this stand to kill someone it's just killing someone in their sleep with extra steps.

Nice list. I can't comment on post-part5 bc I'm anime-only, but if Star Platinum makes the list these two should as well: King Crimson The World Both of them have comparable brawler stats (probably a bit weaker), but they can manipulate 10+ seconds of time which dwarfs star platinum and is the true overpowered ability. That being said, if Star Platinum's power changes noticeably in later parts then maybe it makes sense.

Nah, Death 13 sounds amazing in paper, but in practice it probably not that practicle(or at least to be in the MOST POWERFUL list). Its range is unknown but likely the user need to be around the target and sleep? That'd mean you're defenseless. And you have to stalk your target as well while having no physical protection whatsoever.

NWR I love your videos but in this one you made a few mistakes regarding Star Platinum.His effective range is 2 meters but he can go beyond that however he weakens exponentially as the distance increases but with his destructive power and speed Sp even at 4 meters and at half his power is substantially stronger than an average close range stand. Secondly the physical abilities of stands(i.e strength,durability and speed) can be augmented into their users like when Jotaro used SP to launch himself into the air or how most stand users are more durable than normal humans when using their stands. King Crimson should also be on this list since his ability directly or indirectly negates the effects of some of the stands here.

I think Man in the Mirror is the most powerful stand. It can separate user and stand, leaving the user defenseless. It's possible that it could beat even GER and MiH. Illuso only lost because he kept leaving his victims alive.

I’d like to point out that the only reason GER was defeated in EOH is because DIO had essentially the same ability but he had to punch you first, so he COULD have negated GER if GER wasn’t able to immediately redo reality ( that being said DIO Over Heaven is not well explained so maybe DIO is just has plot immortality)

@@orions2908 No, that is wrong. The only reason he got close to them and was not immediately suspicious was due to him being 11 months old. The disadvantages remain, like that the user can wake up simply from getting scared, that stands are taken into the dreamworld and that the user and the victim have to sleep close to each other for it to work. There is just no argument that puts Death 13 anywhere close to the Top 10. Take for example Illusios stand, it does not allow the enemy to bring their stand into the mirror world, it protects the user and the condition is not as specifc as sleeping next to each other or look at everything that can be done with Heavens Door or some far less risky other stands.

@@maxmustermann9058 Kakyoin didn't wake up because he was scared, Polnareff woke him up. Kakyoin was literally in a falling plane with everyone around him screaming, and he still didn't wake up. If anything, Death 13 makes the person less likely to wake up. The stands can only be brought into the dreamworld if the users fall asleep while their stands are activated, which is not something anyone would do, unless they know about Death 13's power. That is made extra hard since you will forget everything that happened in the dream after waking up. The range is a valid point though. But we have seen that the younger the user, the weaker the stand (Chariot), so I don't think it's a stretch to believe that its range would improve over time.

If they explained how long or hard it was to increase The Worlds time stop duration then it would be unstoppable (except with GER). Just stop time for an hour, casually walk over to any opponent, and beat the hell out of them. Also super useful for every day use. Drop a cup or run late for something, stop time and deal with it.

Just a brief reminder to everyone, Star Platinum does not move at the speed of light, it's an hyperbole, that'd be bonkers. Just one of his fists accelerated at the speed of light would be enough to disintegrate anything, and as we've seen that's not the case, even when Jotaro is fighting with the intent to kill. This is especially not clear on the various vs battle forums, where Star Platinum is considered an untouchable, unrivaled god. Having said that, its placement on this list it's more than fair, it's still very powerful in its own rights. Edit. also there's josuke saying his stand punches at 300mph or something and he matched star platinum

With its armor equipped, Silver Chariot was able to intercept Hanged man, a stand that is made of light, traveling between two reflective surfaces, even knowing its tragectory ahead of time, Silver Chariot did not just position its blade between the two points, but delivered a slash as it traveled from outside its path, as it couldn’t have traveled if Silver Chariot had been blocking the path to the target reflective surface. That means that Silver Chariot, at less than its top speed, can move quickly enough to intercept a beam of light. Star Platinum’s speed is equal to or greater to that of Silver Chariot with its armor removed. Stands will always act to preserve their user’s life, consciously or not. If Star Platinum were to use its light speed in an attack, the resulting burst of energy would most likely kill Jotaro, that doesn’t mean it isn’t capable of it though.

I agree with you, I love Green Green Grass of Home, but it doesn't deserve to be above stands like, Tusk Act 4, Made in Heaven and Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap. However, Green Green Grass of Home is incredibly powerful, but people seem to forget if you defeat the stand the passive ability of the paradox would be reversed.

I feel like people miss understand GER it resets actions to zero. The reason diavolo got stuck in a time loop was because his stand erased time. The action of erasing time activates GER and resets time creating a loop. Due to this there are stands that beat it like green grass of home as Giorno has to move to get GGH to activate using GER would then reset Giorno’s actions. Another one that possibly beats him is the head doctors stand as you’d have to approach him for the karma effect to activate.

Wonder of U should’ve been on this list…it’s basically Green Green Grass of Home but instead of the person shrinking the closer they get to the stand… The closer you get to Wonder of U… with the active pursuit calamities appear… it could be something as small as tripping over a curb and stumbling in the street and a car hits you to your actual being getting blown to pieces.
