I agree. Considering Lilo was being picked on by her “friends” and Nani was trying to manage being a legal guardian and holding a full time job while having to tell David she just doesn’t have enough time for him, he honestly is so underrated considering he helped somewhat with Lilo and got Nani a new job, and understood her situation. Elsa and Anna seemed a tad boring, considering Elsa was told from a young age what triggered her powers.

Alex Russo? Really? I've always saw her as the typical Disney series main character: the selfish/self-centered kid who does everything for themselves and then when things go wrong they count on the people that they mistreated all the time or earlier that episode to solve their problems... Not in a bit relatable, just good for making you laugh.

Although Rapunzel was briefly mentioned what wasn't explored in her case: 1) Abducted children raised by their abductors-there are cases and sometimes it was a parent that just wouldn't cooperate with anyone. 2) 23 and me and other DNA testing companies have turned up cases of parents that cheated. In my case it was a great grandparent who not only changed his name but also completely lied about where he came from-the question is why. 3) Rapunzel somehow sensed that she came from other circumstances but was raised in the middle of nowhere. Once she got to where she came from she thrived. 4) To those who are 100% certain of their parents and siblings but they are also 100% different in every way. For instance, an artist raised among blue collar workers. Nothing wrong with blue collar workers, but what if you have that artistic flair?

How can you not even mention the character who in my mind is by far the most relatable Disney character out there, Ralph from Wreck-It Ralph?! I know I cannot be alone in identifying with Ralph's loneliness, desire to be valued, feeling trapped in some assigned role wanting to prove you can be more than what everyone tells you, that you can be. Ralph's hurt is so real, and so relatable, because we've likely all felt like a loser before. Who else here has also unintentionally hurt their friends because you were to afraid to be honest with them and thought you knew what was ultimately best for them? I know I have. Who else has fought an inner battle to accept him/herself, before ultimately realizing it is okay to be who you are. That is all just from the first film. In Ralph Breaks the Internet, Ralph becomes even more relatable. I know I have tried before to force my friends to choose my point of view over theirs and I certainly know what it feels like to be afraid of losing a friend who seems to be drifting away from me only for us to eventually come to the realization that true friendship goes beyond familiarity and is a bond that cannot be broken. I think we all like Ralph have struggled deciding between choices that involved putting our happiness first or our friends'.

11:04 to 12:05, I related to Belle so much, especially during my early 20's. There was a guy in my life who was so much like Gaston. He was in fact "rude and conceited". Everyone else thought he was the greatest guy in the entire world, but I saw him for who he truly was and that was an arrogant and shallow jerk. Belle made me feel like I wasn't alone when it came to seeing people for their true colors. When I met Paige O'Hara (the voice of Belle) at Fax Expo Dallas 2018 I shared my story with her and she was so touched by it.

I agree, considering Dick accidentally erased Tony’s crush on Violet, and she was so scared he wouldn’t accept her as a superhero. The ending is hilarious with all the Parrs going with her to the movie theater and she’s trying to convince them its just her and Tony, until they have a job to do and fling money at him for tickets

when we are children, we only enjoy the movie; but when we grow up, we already analyze the movie and we can identify ourselves the most relatable characters for me are: Tiana, because she is an example about follow our dreams with effort, dedicattion and hard work Andy from Toy Story, because through he, we can feel how sad it is to leave childhood and miss it. Judy Hopps, also is an example about don't give up on our dreams and fight for them And you would have included Mirabel from Encanto..

To me, Merida just feels like all the Disney Princesses before her put into a blender, and I feel the ONLY reason Edgar is "relatable" is cause giving money to cats was just stupid a idea in the first place. The rest I can totally see how they relate to others, even me!

I can see how people relate to Merida. But, yeah I have to agree she is filled with Disney cliches that we've been exposed to many times. So, somehow I don't find Merida interesting. I mean she's not awful. I just don't find her interesting.
@kristinahuchison2511
@kristinahuchison2511 2 жыл бұрын
Merida was the first princess who didn’t have a love interest I believe, but wasn’t the first who originally wasn’t looking for love. That belongs to Pocahontas, considering she was similar to Merida that she didn’t want to marry Kocuom because she knew she’d never be happy with him. She was even pressured by her father that eventually she’d need to be more mature instead of always running off. I don’t count Belle because Gaston literally is French for suitor, plus the whole point of the story was it wasn’t enough for Beast to love her, she had to love him back.

But there are a lot of people out there who hate both her and The Little Mermaid and think that both of them are overrated. Those haters believe that Ariel is such a selfish, unlikable, unsympathetic, whiny, immature, entitled, and unsympathetic brat and falsely accuse her for abandoning everything just so she could be with a man that she barely even knew forever. And those same haters were obviously overlooking the fact that being with a man, even if she doesn't know him very well, actually wasn't her only goal. It wasn't even her original goal because before she saw Prince Eric for the first time and fell in love with him, she was collecting human treasures that sank beneath the ocean, was so curious about what the human world is really like, and wanted to know what it feels like to be a human herself. So when she finally got the chance, she met Ursula and made a deal with her in exchange for Ariel's voice, but there's a catch to it. If Ariel fails to get Eric to kiss her before the sun sets on the third day, she'll turn back into a mermaid and become Ursula's prisoner forever. Being with Eric forever was the only way for Ariel to ever experience the human world to begin with since that was part of her ultimate goal.

I’m so happy someone is finally defending King Triton. Like Ariel was sixteen years old and in love with a dude from another species she’d never met, of course he’d freak.
@kristinahuchison2511
@kristinahuchison2511 2 жыл бұрын
I agree. Yes Triton is rather pretty uptight and has a bit of a temper, but watching Ariel’s Beginning it explains why he hates humans, not to mention Ariel resembles Athena a lot and has the most beautiful voice just like her mother. As much as I love the Little Mermaid, the fact Triton let her be with Eric is a bit mind boggling, considering Eric didn’t even know her name until last night and fell in love with her voice, not who she was without it. Yes he’s a gentleman with a heart of gold, but he couldn’t forget the beautiful voice. He even exclaimed right before Ariel came in “I’m telling you she was real! I’m going to find her, and I’m going to marry her” What would’ve happened if it was one of her sisters that had the voice? Plus I feel Ariel’s desire to learn about the human world kinda dissolved after she and Eric got married
