Played League Of Legends , was best player of a team but not for good reasons , i played mid and i honestly had toxic team and it wasn't fun . TF2's community is actually going well at the moment, specially in casual. I was in a game where a player suggested that we all go engineer. 10 player out of 12 did, and we built a huge sentry nest in the intelligence room on the 2fort map. We had a sniper and a spy on our team, but we couldn't care less. It's casual, They can do what they want.

I disagree. I used to play a game called Anarchy Online, which was relatively popular, and I don't think I ran into a single shithead my entire time playing. People would randomly help me out, give me tips, give me money if I was struggling with my character, ask to party up to kill bosses, etc. Complete strangers asking with nothing in return. I've been gaming since it cost a quarter to play Pong. The toxic player isn't something special for the internet age. We all know that one guy who we refuse to play Monopoly with. There were toxic players in every arcade growing up and in every pool hall when I was in college. The one commonality is that people are more likely to be assholes to people they don't know. If you're face-to-face with someone you know playing D&D or even trading off a pinball machine, you probably know them outside of that game and are much less likely to rage at them.

I'd disagree. The internet is a large virtual landscape crafted by hand by us humans. We all make our spaces by our personality and likeness. Some toxic parts can effect others, but that doesn't mean it would effect the entire world we molded. I'm not saying you're wrong, i'm saying that there's more detail then what's on the surface.

Lol, so true. League of Legends really deserves to be Nr.1. I played Dota 2 for a while and i didn't find too many toxic players, but I've been playing League for a couple years now and OH BOY, people are so toxic. If you miss one objective, most of the time you are gonna get flamed, or if you get caught by the enemy team, or if you don't ward Baron/Dragon, if you let the enemy team get the Rift Herald, etc. You can also be reported for not talking. Yes, in League, you can actually be reported for not talking :)) It's called ''Refusing to comunicate with the team'' in the ''Negative Attitude'' section.
