Leavanny deserves some praise he was only used against gym battles with type advantage against him and still came in clutch and picked up at least 1 win from the match. Knocking out 2/3 of Burgh's Pokemon and Roxie's Overpowered Koffing who swept another trainers entire team of 6, plus Ash's Unfezant and Boldore afterwards.

I think Glalie is underrated his only loss was as a snorunt. After that, he only won or tied. And of those ties was due to destiny bond. Yet he's never had a proper return and is always forgotten about.

The Unova team is seriously underrated & I’m glad that 3 of them are on this list, If Scraggy evolved into Scrafty it would be an absolute threat & if Snivy evolved all the way to Serperior I’m sure it can also surpass Sceptile as Ash’s best grass type 💪

@@leytonwalker1190 speed in Pokemon anime is very inconsistent in the battle against tobais, Darkrai was easily dodging sceptile's attacks and he was even speedblitz by latios, sceptile just an off-guard deoxys speed. I think hypothetical serperior has great chance to surpass him. And i know someone will still say that sceptile defeated Darkrai but u guys forgot that the MVP of that battle is Heracross Sceptile just finished him off and did nothing to latios. I think Pokemon like lycanroc, krookodile and Incineroar but outclass him

@@leytonwalker1190 Serperior has the skill to defeat legendaries, it’s one of the best starters to exist & just like Sceptile it has impressive speed. If Ash also had a contrary Serperior that thing would sweep almost anything easily.

Ash’s Pidgeot and Primeape both deserve more recognition and screen time. Before evolving, Pidgeot was more Ash’s search and rescue Pokémon and barely interacted with anyone but Ash beyond helping him with a battle or situation. An episode, or even a few cameos, showcasing Pidgeot’s personality beyond just being helpful and loyalty to Ash would be nice. ☺️ Primeape is another mostly underrated Pokémon, despite being Ash’s P1 Grand Prix Champion. It still upsets me that we only really started to get to know Primeape beyond being troublesome or angry by the time that Ash decides to let him go with Anthony, even more so since Primeape was just starting to trust and bond with Ash. 😢

The Unova Pokemon were seriously disadvantaged compared to other teams. Because as has to switch them up every now and then with Pikachu being the only consistent Pokemon on the team, many didn’t get to shine as much as they could.

Leavanny, not just Ash's, is just an underrated pokemon and it is not praised even close to enough. In its home of Unova, it is a great sweeper. It may have many weaknesses, with two x4 weaknesses in fire and flying, but it is fast enough to hit first and take down most opponents.

Leavanny needs more attention in general. Ash used one and it came in clutch, but it wasn’t used that frequently. And on the games side of things Leavanny hasn’t been in a dex since it’s debut in Gen 5, which is extremely disappointing to me as one of the few Leavanny fans.

Ash is the reason I love certain Pokémon like Pidgeot and Squirtle line I use them in every team it could just be nostalgia but I loved Pidgey ever since I first saw them same for Squirtle Bulbasaur is my 2nd favorite gen 1 starter and Iris is the reason I love Haxorus May for Lopunny and Serena for Braixen and Leavanny yeah I love it as my main grass Pokémon because of Ash aswell

One thing I want to see before the end is a proper Greninja Battle Bond fight with Lucario being in awe of their connection. I was not satisfied with Greninja's return episode because we all know that Ash activating the Battle Bond is his best moment. Kinda like Goku's super saiyen form in DBZ.

Torkoal and Torterra are incredibly underutilized. Torkoal honestly should've stood around in Battle Frontier and given a whole boost in winning battles for once! Torterra was done dirty, after having evolved into Grotle for the first time, they were setting up an arc where Grotle had to adjust to it's new slower build as a Tank, but the writing staff just threw there hands up and gave up on it. The way these poor guys got shafted makes me really upset.

My biggest issue with the Journeys series is that given that it was not focused solely on a single region there was a huge opportunity for Ash to rotate his team. No shade to his Galar Team but to me Ash becoming champion should have involved all of his Pokémon and just those 6. I think it was a missed opportunity by the writers not to bring back his other Pokémon for some spotlight.

I think the top 10 Underrated ash pokemon are 10 Taurus 9, Noivern it was not handled well with its short time on Ash’s team and it was able to go Toe toe with Zapdos 8, Butterfree 7, Melmetel we could’ve seen it GMax 6, Leavanny 5, Kingler 4,Buizel 3, Snivy 32, scraggy 1, Gible.
