Urban Dictionary is very useful to learn to understand all those words you won't find in a normal dictionary. IMDB helps me figure out why an actor looks familiar and where else I have seen them. Acronym Finder is useful to figure out the long form of an acronym (and other acronyms that could be confused with the meaning you had in mind). Duolingo is great for learning languages. Stack Overflow and related sites have all kinds of useful information for technical issues. Comic Rocket allows you to keep your place in the many, many excellent web comics out there. Openstreetmap has very detailled maps. Many of the smaller to medium sized Reddit communities (large ones often suffer from Eternal September like issues) provide interesting stories (e.g. /r/writingprompts, /r/talesfromtechsupport and the other tales subreddits), support for people with psychological or social problems (e.g. /r/suicidewatch /r/raisedbynarcissists /r/justnofamily and many others) or technical ones (many programming language and software related communities) and too many others to list. Tyler Vigen's Spurious Correlations is very useful to show people that correlation does not equal causation. Chocolatey is a package manager for Windows, allowing you to install packages similar to the way you would on Linux.

Kahn Academy clearly has a lot of useful resources and came highly recommended. I registered with the intent of occasional use, but barely used it. Unfortunately during the years of having an account I received what I consider much too frequent solicitations for support funds, so my advice is to use this resource if you can benefit, but be prepared for more email.
