Personally, I probably wouldn't include Doc Ock: Year One only because that one came a few years after the Webspinners successor series "Tangled Web" ended (2005) and that already received it's own a omnibus. So for the sake of chronology, I would probably include it in a later omnibus. But I could definitely see adding Legacy of Evil in there. They could even throw the 3-issue "Daily Bugle" black and white miniseries in there as well, even though Peter Parker is barely an ancillary character in it. If Marvel really wanted to, they could go back and include some content that was (so far) skipped in previous omnis, they could probably also include the Marvel Graphic Novels for Spider-Man - Parallel Lives, Spider-Man - Spirits of the Earth and Spider-Man - Fear Itself. But that would take them back to 1989-1992. 🤷‍♂

The post clone saga Spider-man series are very connected with each other and it makes much more sense to collect them together, similarly to post onslaught X-Men (or the Clone Saga era). Please please please we need all the Amazing, Spectacular, Sensational and Peter Parker Spider-man material collected together for 1996-1998. Then Marvel can merge the three Next Chapter TPBs and the Revenge of Green Goblin TPB into two omnibus that will cover all Spidey material from 1998 to 2001 (JMS Omnibus)

That final chapter book is one of my most wanted. That then leaves us with the next chapter To plug the gap to JMS. You could do both in 1 volume each, unless you expand the mapping to include everything & do it in 2 sets of 2 like the clone saga/Ben Reilly omnis. There's a lot of surprisingly good stories in there (Spiderhunt, ID crisis, carnage taking over the silver surfer).

Solid list! These are always fun to watch and see what you put on them. Personally I'm most eager for them to put out more Slott Spidey omnibus hopefully, from BND to Big Time and onwards from there. The latest Dan Slott Superior Spider-Man series ended a few months ago, with no more on the way, so it's safe to collect. Presumably a Vol. 2 (or 3) would collect the Christos Cage 12 issue series as well. Also Silk has had a few minis over the last few years which could be collected.

Damn no old school Marvel Team Up on the list? I really want that omni, hopefully with the Giant Size issues (if they are able to include the issues with Fu Manchu and Doc Savage) Feels like its weird that we havent gotten any of this in omnis or epics yet, since Amazing and Spectacular are past the point where this series started Out of this list, Spectacular volume 2 (despite double dipping with Stern which will eventually be made obsolete) and Spider-Woman for me and thats it.

Firstly: That a Paul Jenkins Omnibus isn’t being discussed is a crime, his run was overshadowed by the fact that it came out when JMS’ did but it was actually better than JMS run in some parts and contains several of the best single issues of spider man of all time. Secondly I’m game for a post clone saga Omnibus but were you drunk when you made that contents? That era needs to collect Sensational-Spiderman 12-33, Amazing 419-443 PPSM 76-98, and Spectacular 241-263. It would probably need to be at least 2 omnibus, especially if they’re collecting the other material unlimited etc from the era. The mapping might be difficult as all the titles ran concurrently.

Few comments: 1. Scarlet Spider by Yost would be a really excellent choice. Sleeper hit series there! 2. That Final Chapter omni should be ASM 419-441 plus the annuals and crossover issues. I made this era into 3 omnis, but I collected EVERYTHING between the end of Ben Reilly vol 2 and the reboot. 3. Marvel Team-Up?!? 4. I think that Superior vol 2 is a solid idea! 5. For Big Time, I am personally hoping that they will include every issue that is in the Spider-Island ohc, if not also the issues in the Companion ohc (those are of course less necessary!), but missing those Remender Venom issues would hurt the storyline, fwiw.

Some thoughts I’d label the superior volume as a companion rather than second volume since it went alongside. volume 2 could be the 2018 maxi-series, Slott’s new ongoing and his stories from Clone Conspiracy. Silver Sable ASM double-dip might be too much since it gets to around 60 issues. I’d probably stick with the issues they put in the spidey/sable trade (265, 279-281 + PPSM stories). I like the idea of padding out the scarlet volume with new warriors issues, I similarly wished marvel did that for Miles with All-New Ultimates ongoing. Final Chapter could benefit from including hobgoblin lives, although SSM *should* eventually collect it.

Big Time is a must. I wish Marvel had put in Avenging/Superior Team-Up in the Superior omni, and across future Big Time omnis. So, there's that omni to look forward to: Avenging/Superior Team-Up. I absolutely need a JMS/JRJr omni. I refuse to buy Sins Past in any format again. Marvel also needs to probably rethink how they collected the Back in Black Saga. Or properly collect Sensational/Peter Parker Spider-Man when JMS was ongoing.

Will marvel ever release stuff pre-marvel in omnibus format? Jack Kirby did a lotttt of stuff and westerns such as Rawhide Kid...Black Magic..etc. we only have a few paperback vols of those titles but never a complete omnibus collection!

I would like to see all the pre-Marvel (Atlas and Timely) in omnibus form, but it doesn't seem likely now that Marvel made a deal with Fantagraphics to release in hardcover a lot of that early stuff. So far the quality has been really good. Besides the Atlas stuff, Fantagraphics will be releasing a new series called Lost Marvels vol 1 Tower of Shadows. For now, we can look forward to those.
