That’s actually perfect! That’s THE perfect proposal, I am now a 40 year old woman who has more regrets than I should at my age. I still feel like I’m a 21 year old who can do whatever she wants. & I’ve been in prison, jail, u make it, I’ve probably been there. So I can tell you w absolute certainty that jail/prison is an extremely humbling experience, so for him to realize u were all he could think of in that moment, than that’s perfection

The explanation in love of Matthew Macfadyen in Pride and Prejudice is a real volcano of tenderness and adoration for the beloved girl. This shot of the rising sun between the faces of the two lovers is unsurpassed in cinematography. Keira Knightley and Matthew Macfadyen captivate with their explosive chemistry and leave an unforgettable memory in everyone. Andrew’s proposal to Margaret in The Proposal should have been closer to the top, I love this movie & this scene no matter how many times I watch it I still get teary eyed. Sweet Home Alabama when Melanie proposes to Jake in the rain in her wedding dress, that is the best on Sweet Home Alabama, love it. Maggie’s proposal to Ike on Runaway Bride was perfect & I loved it, Julia & Richard were magic together in those ROM/Coms. Friends With Benefits was cute, love Mila Kunis & Justin Timberlake was good in this too. I’m so tired of everybody picking When Harry Met Sally for #1 for every romance movie poll, I hated that movie, it was boring & I thought they were kind of stupid with all the she likes him she hates him he hates her then he loves her, not my pick here at all. All of the other movies mentioned before deserved to be ranked #1 instead of this one. No offense meant to Meg Ryan or Billy Crystal cause I like both & usually liked whatever they were in but not that one. Sorry.

While I adore the 1995 miniseries if we are simply going by proposals I prefer this one. The proposal in the 1995 miniseries seemed anticlimactic to me, almost as though it was simply clearing the air so they may decide to marry and even took place while walking along with another couple on the side of the road. Compared to the 2005 version with the beautiful scenery, score, chemistry, and actual declarations of love. The movie version may have taken liberties that were not in the novel text but it also produced what I feel is absolutely breathtaking proposal. Also for what it's worth I first read Pride and Prejudice in the late 80s and watched the 1995 miniseries at least a hundred times before the 2005 movie even came out so I'm not a newcomer however I am just one of those fans that don't feel actual disdain for the movie adaptation and can admit things I personally feel it was better at.
@collie33508 ай бұрын
I think the first proposal 1995 was best, the one when Elizabeth turned him down. The mini serie is closer to the book. You don't need all beautiful scenery, declarations of love and stuff. No one beats Jennifer Ehle and Colin Firth.
