The scene in Children Of Men were the people are fighting was so breathtaking! Because it was so realistic that it felt like you were actually there, no cuts at all, just amazinlgy made! And that scene when everybody lowers their weapon and it gets completley silent because they haven't seen a baby in like forever was powerful and breathtaking!

The best movie riot was in The Spook Who Sat by the Door (1973) the actors were so convincing during filming that members of the public started joining in - cameras were told to keep rolling and footage of a real riot was eventually used in the film, the movie for this an other reasons was censored in the United States and never had a proper release. It is still available online.

Two things: 1st. Was there a riot in Milk? I didn't see the movie, but as it was portrayed here it looks like Milk stopped a riot from happening. If so then it shouldn't be on the list. 2nd. Where the hell is the riot in Animal House? Way better than some of the riots, or non riots as the case may be, shown on this list.

Karen Fahel Gangs of New York has both a riot and a final organized fight. The people who are raiding and killing people of a higher standing than them aren't in the fight, but are rioting against them. Anchorman like SoccerLover said, is a organized meet, didn't escalate into a riot.

I am very certain that, in the movies, there is one district where they train their teenagers to compete in the games. When the teenagers have trained for a number of years, they VOLUNTEER as tributes like Katniss did.

How ON EARTH is the riot from Over the Edge not on this list? It's one of the single most epic, rebellious acts of teenage anarchy ever captured on film! I know it's an old movie, but come on! It's a scene everyone, especially teens should see, because it's not born of senseless violence. Instead, it's a meaningful message that shows the power that the underdogs can harness. It definitely belongs on this list.

Wait, wait. If I remember right, the little girl getting shot in V for Vendetta is just the police detective telling his colleague what might happen. I think the girl is even shown in the crowd at the end of the movie wearing the mask.

BenderUnit22x The girl shows up at the end together with several other characters who have died in the cause, such as the comedy show host or the main girls parents. It's sort of a Les Miserables moment of having the dead join the living to see the completion of the fight they died for.

DJDC99 Mockingbird is a Eminem song, a episode of Game of Thrones, the name of several novels and the last word in a film that many call one of the greatest ever, however it doesn't have someone who a solid 90% of the male population of the internet have seen her tits. 1 film that should have made the list In the name of the father (1993) shows a brutal riot between the British Army and the Irish youth in Belfast when the protagonist is mistaken for an IRA sniper. Every part of that riot sequence is an almost perfect recreation if the riots that occurred in that time, The organised response of the neighborhood when the Brits roll in with the armoured cars, IRA paramilitaries, Petrol bombs, scared British soldiers with itchy trigger fingers and angry, oppressed Irish Catholics who are fighting for their independence. I'm actually quite surprised that not a single film based on this part of history is on there there was a lot of civil disorder in that time.
