You've got to be shitting me! Dark Knight over Lord of the Rings, ahahahahahhaha, that's the funniest joke I've seen and heard in my life. LOTR would beat the shit out of Dark Knight anytime, there's no question about it. In fact, IMO LOTR is the greatest movie trilogy in history and will never be beaten by any movie, even by the "beloved" Dark Knight.

I believe so. In my opinion, I really think The Departed is strongly overrated. Sure, it boasts great performances, though it did feature someone also really overrated in my opinion (Jack Nicholson), but in my opinion none of them stands up to The Dark Knight, and none of their performances could surpass Heath Ledger's Joker. Do note, however, I've never liked comic books. Movies? I love them. The Dark Knight was amazing as a movie. The Departed was good. I tried to like it, but it was just eh. I've seen too many movies that are better than it. Oh and Lord of the Rings? I think it deserves at most third place. Again, overrated. Extremely entertaining, but it wasn't the best movie series of all time. I'm sure what I said about LOTR will spawn some hardcore fanboys and I will most def be shittalked about it, but I'll stand with it.
@nomansland31210 жыл бұрын
You might be right, but remember the criteria they set in the beginning box office, Iconic status, critical acclaim etc. maybe while judging the movies The Dark Knight got the best results of all criteria combined. Again not saying it deserves the top spot but maybe while judging the movies by the criteria that they set The Dark Knight just did better.

The detonation of the Gotham Hostpital in TDK is the greatest improvised movie scene of all time. When joker walks out he was supposed to get right in the bus, but the explosives set in the structure failed, and Heath improvised the turning around, acting frustrated and pressing the button repeatedly until the explosives detonated. The crew naturally wanted to stop the shoot seeing as they had a shit-ton of rigged explosives failing, but Nolan urged them to keep filming and it turned out to become the single greatest scene in any movie ever

Of course they had to be long, but why not watching something great for 3 hours instead of one? Also, you can say they were boring, it's your opinion, but there are many, many , many more people who found the movies exciting. So no, i didn't forget to mention boring as a facet of the trilogy.

Tom Skeez but how good is it actually? Coz genres like fantasy, superhero & sci-fi r not the types that I'm interested in every one of them except a few ones like TDK trilogy & GuardiansotG, the only superhero films that I like, while sci-fi films such as Inception, Interstellar, Edge of Tomorrow, Snowpiercer & The Martian remain the only several ones I'm interested in, Night at the Museum & Transformers r probably the only two of fantasy films I watch therefore asking you, do u recommend that i watch that trilogy?

The Incredibles made the list........but finding Nemo got an honorable mention and Up wasn't even mentioned? No, just no
@ceebee56419 жыл бұрын
Hariz Hafi How is finding nemo overrated and Up has so much more meaning then Incredibles
@ceebee56419 жыл бұрын
Hariz Hafi Actually, without Toy Story there would be no Pixar period. The Incredibles did nothing to change animation, those were movies like Snow White, or Toy Story or Finding Nemo. The Incredibles was an action pack movie that pushed maturity levels in cartoon movies to a high...it was good, but Up once again had more meaning and no Finding Nemo did not have a terrible story....you may think that but others don't
@ceebee56419 жыл бұрын
Hariz Hafi Funny how you say that finding Nemo has the exact same story line as a y other non animated movies.....yet you say shot's from the incredibles hasn't been used in any ANIMATED movies. Obviously you don't mention non animated because it has the same or a similar plot line to any other superhero movie or any other non animated movie. Also Finding Nemos story line is not used in a lot non animated movies see now you are just being a hypocrite.....it is more likely to see a movie about superheros who save the world and live happily ever after, than to see a boy who's siblings and mother have died than to be taken away from his dad, you obviously have HORRIBLE tastes in movies if you believe that a story line so rare can be a rubbish movie

No disrespect to any of these movies, but this list kinda proves that the golden age for films was in the 70s, 80s, and 90s.
@RockdaNike10 жыл бұрын
I don't know, it's hard to judge the legacy of a film that recently has been released. Citizen Kane wasn't very popular at it's release and is now a cinematic land mark. In 20 years we don't know what people will think is the best movie. That's just my opinion though
@rawleyfear57495 жыл бұрын
I'd argue that the 80s is full of overrated cheese and before their time special effects--at least many of the ones that people put on lists. I'd take LotR, There Will Be Blood, and NCfOM before most 80s movies.
