Every major influential culture throughout history has been run primarily by men going back to the beginning: Sumerians, Egyptians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, Romans, Holy Roman Empire, Byzantines, Hindustanis, Chinese, Japanese, Carthaginian, Teutons, Tartars, Saracens, Aztec, Mayan, Incan, Mongols, Huns, Zulu, Vikings/Norse, Russian, French, English, Spanish, Dutch, Ottomans, German, American, etc. etc. Yes, there are matriarchal cultures, but they are largely small communities and self contained.

I would say that it is absolutely possible for you to work hard and NOT become rich. The very phrase "rich enough" bares massive interpretation so there is never an easy answer there. Someone could work every hour of everyday of their life and not achieve the status of "rich". There is the possibility that the people you work with are affecting your opportunity to succeed, and not everyone is taught how to recognize/avoid those situations. There is a lot of different cases is all I'm trying to say

Bloods and Crips was the best episode by far. Goes to show that so much of these discussion are always going to be gravitated to by middle class people who are removed from the problems, but desperate to give their opinion and feel validated. But soon as you get a room full of people together who despite their tribalistic feuds and the controversy they face by even being in the room, have suffered the same things, they're able to have a real grown up discussion.
