Wow, now I REALLY want to visit Tokyo! Even though I'm not a huge anime/manga fan, this is all still super-cool! Love it!

great tips! my only addition would be the Mori Tower in Roppongi. The ticket for the Mori Art Museum on the 52nd floor (which has always super nerdy exhibitions) also grants you access to the viewing deck on the 54th floor. for a small extra fee you can even go all the way up and stand on the roof top helipad and get the best view over Tokyo.

I considered adding that. I got to record my latest Comic Tropes episode at KZbin's Studios in Mori Tower and it's a cool building.

I wish Osamu Tezuka museum were as big as any fo these places, it is kind of sad how Tezuka's legacy is so mismanaged both by himself and his family.....he probably wanted to build something like Disneyland but....man its now just a small museum in Takarazuka, maybe an hour or so from Osaka by train....just thought about geeky and I couldn't think much else in here Osaka/Kansai area though im sure there are more

I love Osamu Tezuka. Over on my first channel, Comic Tropes, an early video I made discussed Astro Boy and some day I plan to tackle Buddha.

Thank you for sharing this video of Tokyo. Though I live in Tokyo myself, I've been given a project with the Tokyo Tourism Bureau and Kanto Tourism Agency to look into revamping guides into Tokyo and the surrounds. I draw inspiration from many content creators and draw upon them for some popular and hidden gems and watching your small snippet of your experiences gives me a few ideas to storyboard and then create the official guides. Thank you so much and I hope you remain safe during this climate!

I’d love to go to Japan. But I’m TERRIFIED of riding in an airplane. So I’ll never get to go.

I was wondering how Japan was different from your previous visits since they are ramping up for the Olympics?
@TheZooropaBaby4 жыл бұрын
I am Japanese and most of my life I've been in Japan (I was in US for high school and college though) and I can tell that Japan has gotten way more friendly to tourists since deciding to host Olympics (so....2014? 15?) and realize they can cash in on tourism.

More English speaking and English signs. The first time I visited was something like 1992 and it was trickier to navigate. It's super easy now.

When you go into the Gachapon store and get the prizes for the show, do you pick up any for yourself?
