I know a lot of people get tired of zombie games, but honestly? I can't get them enough. They're some of the funnest enemies in video games. I really hate how people keeping throwing around the phrase "spiritual successor" so loosely. It's a generic rip off of RE games. The character/monster designs are way too similar and it looks like they copy and pasted the damn movement animations from RE5.

I love the Zombie genre... But what i really miss in all these games is the start of a Zombie Apocalypse. See and live the chaos and panic in these games like the start of the movie World War Z. I would really love to play in a world like that and see how it ends up.

Not even mention in honorable section No More Room In Hell 2 sequel to half life 2 mod which saw and standalone release I'm saddened that it really isn't talked a lot about because people behind the game deserve the media coverage for their work and dedication. Well since Payday The Heist started life as a Left 4 Dead mod and in Payday The Heist there is an escape where you start the Zombie Apocalypse by running through a morgue I get the feeling that Overkills The Walking Dead is going to maybe show some reference to how it all started

Wow I am really disappointed that you didn’t mention Black ops four zombies. I know it’s not a zombies game, but you pointed out the last of us part 2 even though it’s not a “zombies” game, and their environmental enemy is clickers. But Treyarch zombies should have been in this list or at least mentioned. Cod zombies has a special place in a lot of people’s hearts including mine, and was a revolutionary style of gameplay. It was a fresh new mode for cod and at times was the mode that kept cod alive. There was so much to do and it was such a unique and different game that millions of people enjoy and look forward to in 2018.

dying light is still my favorite fps zombie game. the mechanics are so smooth with Mouse and keyboard. the only thing i did not like was the ending. like foreal all of a sudden it became a telltale game cuz it changed from a dope fps game to a quick time event. other than that, gore is dope, mechanics are dope, grappling hook is dope, drop kicks are dope, and of course the parkour

The Walking Dead is a great show one of the best zombie TV shows Ive seen so far in this life. Resident Evil 1-4 are the best zombie games of yester year in my opinion. As far as newer zombie games Dead Island, 7 Days to Die, Dying Light and so many others. I have yet to play some of these. Im still inpatiently waiting for the next major update to 7 Days to Die (PC).

Dead i island 2 has not been announced for 2018 release but they can announce it later and release it on summer of fall but so far it is not announced for 2018 release
