As a singer, I couldn’t help but be mesmerized by Eartha Kitt and that clip. The way the voice was as theatrical with Yzma as it was when she performed, and seeing her act Yzma while she did recordings. Just pure GOLD. I am SO in awe of this talent, and may she rest in peace. ❤️

The original voice of Winnie the Pooh and the Cheshire Cat was Sterling Holloway, who also voiced Kaa the snake, the stork in Dumbo, and many other Disney characters. Jim Cummings must be mimicking Sterling's voice, which is the sign of a good voice actor. Also, the original voice of Tigger was Paul Winchell.

I'm surprised no one ever mentions Tony Jay. This guy played voice of the Elder God in Legacy of Kain. The sardonic narrator in the bard's tale game. However the role most people remember would be Judge Jean Claude Frollo . The main villain from the Hunchback of Notre Dame.

Boy you folks missed two. And I mean big time. First, there was Vincent Price as Professor Ratikan in "The Great Mouse Detective." Vincent's voice talents were used to the best advantages in this film; projecting cultured sophistication, mixed with subtle sinister menace, sly humor, as well as a gleeful triumph. He was definitely a major reason this Disney piece of animation was so successful. Second, James Woods as Hades in "Hercules." James reported in an interview that Hades was initially suppose to be a slow, menacing character who spoke in a very deep voice. Instead, he brought to the role a "used car salesman" type of character, which worked perfectly. James steals every scene that he is in, and increased the level of an already enjoyable movie to even greater heights. Both Woods and Price definitely deserve to be included here.

As a lifelong fan of animated entertainment I have a deep and abiding respect, admiration and appreciation for all the voice artistry celebrated in this video. However, my #1 will always be the person who created the term “Voice Characterizations”, who became known as “The Man of a Thousand Voices”, Mel Blanc. And not just because I met him in person. Back in the early 60s my family were guests at a corporate childrens' Xmas party at Casa Loma in Toronto. Every ballroom, hallway and stairwell of this real live castle was filled with musicians, clowns, magicians and jugglers...and a quietly-smiling, unassuming man in a neat dark suit and a tiny moustache. He complimented my little sister, literally a "babe in arms", telling her "Ohhhh! What a tweet widdle girl you are!" She was unimpressed and a little shy but I was thunderstruck as he turned to me and offered his hand burbling (and slobbering) "And what's YOUR name young fella!" Tweety and Sylvester... in the flesh! My Mom says my mouth did not close for a whole week after!

There were three actresses who played Catwoman in the 1960s Adam West version of 'Batman'. Of the three, Eartha Kitt was by far the best. My introduction to Seth McFarlane was through the BBC Proms, at which he sang 'Well, Did You Evah' with Curtis Sturgis. He took the part sung by Bing Crosby in the film 'High Society'.

Eartha Kitt’s performance as Yzma truly is underrated! She steals the show with every scene she’s in and her voice cracks me up, every time! RIP to her, Robin Williams, Gilbert Gottfried, and Mel Blanc. All gifted voice actors who left us way too soon. 💀🪦💔💐🎧🎙 “GET AWAY FROM ME!”

You forgot to mention Tara Strong, known for the voices of Bubbles in “THE POWER PUFF GIRLS,” Timmy in “THE FAIRLY ODD PARENTS,” Dil in “RUGRATS,” Raven in “TEEN TITANS,” “BATGIRL,” “FAMILY GUY,” “DRAWN TOGETHER,” “BEN 10,” Melody in “THE LITTLE MERMAID 2,” “SPIRITED AWAY,” etc. Yes, I copy paste this, but you guys also left a lot of woman out.
