FYI Penhaligons has a Royal Warrant because a lot of UK royalty wear it - it is well known both Lady Diana and Philip the Duke of Edinburgh wore their fragrances... Kate is rumoured to be The Duchess Rose! The Favourite was made for the Queen!!! I would say this fragrance house is worn more by Lords than any other 😘 Great video by the way. 👍

For me It was the 50/50 half stoked that I finally discovered a hyper, quality brand, and 50% sad that I never sampled them until know! Do you happen to know if Halfeti Cedar's rum note is stronger here than in Kilian's straight to heaven? As straight to heaven and all the Kilian's I have tried, seem to give me a headache, I am assuming it's the strong, alcohol. Thanks!

@@mattstrom5348 Only tried Straight to Heaven Extreme and I'd say that the booziness in Halfeti Cedar is not the same. It's deeper and less headache-y, which I suspect is probably more likely an effect of the woody amber Sidonie used to produce that boozy effect in the Kilian. Halfeti Cedar is more resinous-spicy and closer imo to profile of Black Phantom. Sweeter than Halfeti Leather too. Hope that helps.

Love the video! All 43 mins of it. It's a kind of video that you watch while having some tea and relaxing; calming and a contrast to other mainstream fast paced fragrance videos! Endymion concentre is my favourite here! I agree with your take on it being soft, but i guess that's the concept of the fragrance; deep, sensual, intimate. Much love!

I own Endymion concentre, Halfeti and William from Penhaligons. And on my urgent wish list is "Legacy of Petra", which is like Halfeti also from the Trade routes collection. I like Endymion to wear at home, there is only a subtile "lambswool" scent I smell in it, that occasionally disturbs me a bit. "William" is a very underestimated scent of the Portraits Collection. It is a creamy Vetiver scent with some fruit in it. It could be felt as a more masculine attempt of Byredos Bal dàfrique.

Quercus is the Fragrance that Singapore airlines uses in Their amenity bags, if you fly business class. That’s where I first discovered it. And I truly love it and use it all the time.

Hello, thank you for an informative video. I recently purchased Halfeti but after using it for few times it turned on my skin very very masculine so I gifted it to my handsome brother. Some reviews compared Halfeti to Chopard Oud Malaki, and yes they are 99% the same except that Halfeti is more refined. To me I find Halfeti a watered down version of Lancome Magie Noire.

Have some very good perfumes,I penhaligon's,,,I have three parfums sartorial is a perfume fougere, sam mr blazing has a warm opening with sweet tobacco, and well understood halfeti ,as I live in london I visit since then two spectacular stores that find all the perfumes in the world harrods and selfridges,So black Friday is coming!
