Yeah he beat me but i felt he only did because he was told to by his girlfriend who btw only got like 300 days in jail. The only way i could show my hurt at the sentencing was by play "lie like that" by kid kenzi. And when i heard voice i swear it felt like needles just stabbing at my chest. I was in a situation similar to some of these. And I understand completely what you meant by it’s the worst feeling to know you’re innocent but everyone involved thinks otherwise. I am a 19 year old black kid. I had this German girlfriend. Blonde, green eyes all innocent looking. She got mad at me for hugging a girl best friend Bc she was going through some things. And I was trying to comfort her. And my gf at the time saw that. And instead of asking me for an explanation she ignored me and went home very upset. She wouldn’t talk to me so I had no idea why she was mad. And she went on to tell her parents that I abuse her. She went to her room that night and purposely and repeatedly hit herself with a hydro flask water bottle until she bruised. And she had went and showed her friends and posted it on her social media’s and told people I did that to her. That I hit her. And of course it looked 10000% bad Bc she’s this “innocent” looking white girl and I’m this “intimidating” looking black dude. Like at that point there’s nothing I can say to make myself look better. I lost friends. I almost lost myself through that. I’m the kindest human being. I never hurt anyone. She’s gotten me very pissed off a number of times. But laying a hand on her never crossed my mind. I’ve never even yelled at her I would just walk away when I got mad. And so the law got involved and luckily it didn’t get very far Bc she told them that it wasn’t all that serious. But it’s scary at how far it did go just off her word. Sorry for this long comment if you read it thank you for letting me share. :) one more thing. It’s through that experience that I really just thank god and mama for the amazing person. And man I’ve grown to be. Making the best decisions. Living my life. Minding my business and never doing anyone any harm. I strive to be greater everyday. As you should too.

I've seen a lot of young blonde girls accuse young boys of rape. I was recently berating my friend's daughter for telling teachers a boy raped her because he grabbed her arm. She didn't even know what rape was, she was disgusted when we told her what she was accusing the boy of. After 30 minutes of explaining what she was doing, it finally clicked, and she started crying. We told her, if she kept up her false accusation the entirety of his life would be destroyed. Jobs, relationships, renting a home, going to school, and anything else in his life involved with society or people... He would either not be able to do it, or would have to fight just to be allowed... She was ruining his life over a lie... She came clean to the teachers... I still feel dirty knowing someone so arrogant and ignorant, even if she was only 14. I feel for you man, I hope you a happy and productive life. The first one was just like one of those, except instead of stealing a tv, this person was accused of raping and killing a mother and her daughter, after they found out he was innocent they released him with only the clothes he had when he went in,what ever was in his pockets, a pat on the back and a sorry. The sad part was he went into a public restroom for the first time in 30 years, he had never seen an air hand dryer before. After doing this paper I started to question our justice system. Edit: this was for my High School final english paper. I added this comment before finishing the video, the gentleman at the 22:00 mark is the gentleman I was referring to.

I learned early on that, "If you did nothing wrong, then you have nothing to worry about" is a lie. As a child in elementary school, I was accused once of taking a classmate's money from their bag. Another time, I was accused of stealing a classmate's hearing aid. Both happened in the same class, in the same year. With the hearing aid incident, the teacher even put together a sort of class trial where my peers would decide if I was innocent or guilty. Because I was so young, didn't know how to express myself, and knew I didn't do it, the frustration and fear of it all made me burst out into tears. My schoolmates took this as a sign I was guilty. That class trial the teacher thought was such a good idea has stuck with me even now. I was the new kid, from an immigrant family, and didn't have many friends. If someone is determined to make you look guilty, they will.

That's messed in general the teacher did that. The teacher needs a punch in the lips.

@@adamrodgers9175 As a kid, I didn't tell my mom right away, and didn't understand why she got so mad once I did. As an adult, I see how messed up it was; like a discount Lord of the Flies. It did teach me a valuable lesson that you can't always trust the truth to come out and save you. If people want to destroy you hard enough, they will. A lot of teachers in that school were cruel, however, since they encouraged treating new kids like black sheep or even bullying. No surprise that school has shut down now.
@adamrodgers91754 жыл бұрын
Lesya L it's good that school was shut down, That's messed up to have happen. It's understandable though that you didn't know better. As kids we know it's wrong, but we don't see how wrong it is till we have someone tell us how wrong it is. Then we get older and realize it was completely messed up.
@lesyayarmolenko14014 жыл бұрын
@@adamrodgers9175 Exactly. I hadn't thought about it in a while, but cases where someone has been wrongfully imprisoned always remind me of it. Most of these people will never be able to live a normal life without some mental/emotinal issues. No amount of money can make it better or apologize. Life is too short to spend it behind bars which weren't meant for you. Hell, I get ticked when someone at work uses my name to cover up for their mistake or when they just assume I had something to do with it.

It's not history tho... Still happening today. I know someone that was sentenced to 20 years based on one person's testimony. He served 8 years and did nothing wrong at all. I know someone else currently in jail since May 31st 2020 and could face 7-10 years at trial. Again based on person's complaint against them. By the way both are black accused by white men of something they did not do. Guilty until proven innocent...

Bro u making the point that long term convicts are usually very alienated from society and usually fail to find a place in the job market as well as the social environment around them is something too many people do not talk about. Thank u for making the simple point on your platform. If everyone shared this statement with someone else once a day. Wed all be wondering why repeat convictions and mental illness and drug addiction are going on when we have the knowledge that these people need help integrating back into society as well as a healthy personal and private life. If more people talk more thing would get done. U just got my respect in full and my subscription for that. 💪💯
