I agree. I don't swim, nor hike so the places he mentioned might appeal to those that do. I did visit Ronda, Codoba, Granada, and many other areas of Andalucia and of course Sevilla. My lineage is Spanish and Portuguese so I was visiting family while vacationing in Tenerife and on the peninsula. Very beautiful and I loved the experience.

Ryan Shirley Im from the basque country and now im vacationing in marbella pretty amazing also puerto vanur there are a lot of supercars and race cars and yesterday i visited ronda and in the north you can visit the north of spain in the basque country a island mountain atached with a stairs called san juan de gastelugatxe where it was recorded the film Juego de tronos

We love Spain and we have actually visited 3 times the past decade. Some of our favorites are Barcelona, Madrid, Salamanca, Cuenca, Seville, Ronda, Arcos de la Frontera, and Granada! The sights, the culture, the food... almost all our experiences in Spain have been amazing. I hope we visit once again when this pandemic is over. Hasta Luego!

Spain is the like a shrunken down America as in it has the most varied landscapes in Europe for sure you can find anything there . The Pyrenees have some incredibly beautiful mountain ranges , Andorra is well worth a visit .

I would like aso recommend you another non so touristic places as Mérida (Old roman town "Emerita Augusta"), Córdoba and Granada (founded by the Arabs), Caceres (Medieval and scenario of "Game of Thrones) and a so looooong etc. Good weather, food, folklore, open people, huge history, safety, strong healthcare system, good prices... made of Spain one of the best places in of the world

U need to visit the North if u want to check the Celtic culture and eat like a King. Galicia, Cantabria, Asturias... Paìs Vasco is amazing, one of the oldest cultures of Europe. Dont forget to visit the castles of Castilla Leòn & La Mancha where Don Quijote belongs. In my opinion the most amazing city is Granada, u will fell in love. And also the city that never sleeps which I'm proud of, Madrid!!! Viva el vino.

Great video! If you go to Spain again I'd recommend checking out Northern Spain. Anywhere near the Pyrenees is great for hiking with stunning mountainous views but I can personally recommend places like Panticosa or Piedrafita de Jaca. And if you like skiing the pyrenees are a great spot too!

Definitely, Pocos de Europa is quite magical, they like a small chunk of the alps thrown right on top of the Atlantic Ocean just a few miles away, with a very rugged coastline, a bit like Ireland and Switzerland combined in one Province, Asturias, and part in Cantabria and Leon

I'm from Tenerife. You had a good first impression of Spain! Nice resume, you should discover more places from Spain during your life. Your video represent the 10-20% of interesting places. In the north of the mainland, you should visit Galicia, Pais Vasco and the coast of Asturias (road trip along the small villages). Mountains: Parque Natural de Ordesa, Sierra Nevada. Cities: Granada, Sevilla, Cuenca, Toledo, Segovia, Ávila, Surroundings of Girona, and much more ... From my Canary islands, I recommend you La Palma (the beautiful one). La Gomera and El Hierro are also good options to discover "The Greenest islands". Excellent video! I hope you delete "La manga" from the list in the future. Most of the spaniards think it's an aberration for this natural ecosystem.

Have to visit Pyrenees mountains (Aran Valley, National Park of Ordessa y Monte Perdido, etc) and the most historic Spanish cities (Santiago de Compostela, Toledo, Segovia, Ávila, Burgos, Salamanca, Córdoba and Granada). To admiring the most extreme landscape contrasts in the shortest distance: visit the north of Navarra Comunity (I.e. Irati forest, Baztan and Roncal valleys) and the Bárdenas Reales desert, it’s like to travel from alpine enchanted forests to the Arizona’s or Utah’s deserts in an hour by car. Enjoy Spain!

Picos de europa is in a region called Asturias, which is a natural paradise between the mountains and the sea. If you like jumping from cliffs is kinda paradise since all the coast is pretty rough

From what i see. Try Girona: the pyrinees just beside the mediterranean. Huesca: increadible treaking in the pyrinees. (Think like picos de europa, but higher and more Wild) search for Ordesa y Monte perdido. (You'll absolutely LOVE this one) Cádiz: amazing beaches and great mountain ranges for treking. (And amazing food) Basque country: It's a classic and the flysch....something Tells me you're gonna like It. Galicia, the Cíes isles seems like your kind of spot. The whole rugged coast of Galicia with it's calas IS like a northern version of mallorca. Lérida: amazing pyrinees, great spot for treking. As good as huesca, check aguestortes Granada: Alhambra and the highest mountain Range in Spain. I would also recommend the interior, but i think you like the coast just too much. Check hoces del duraton and sierra de gredos if you want to give It a try.

Obviously, Ryan is a lover of nature. His choices of attractions are all about scenery: Mountains, rivers, seaside towns, etc. Alhambra, Cordoba are places of Culture significance. There are also some other places in the same category, such as Avila, Segovia, Burgos, Toledo, etc. Some people would prefer one over the other; luckily I like both Categories. 😀

I'm from Spain and I'm really proud about my country. I think that Andalucía is the best place to visit, since there are some amazing citys like Seville ( the prettiest for me) Granada or Malaga. All in Spain is awsome, but if you want to visit Spain you have to visit Andalucía.

I don‘t know of you have been there But when you manage to Get to the Alps again go to see the „Königsee“ with the famous Mountain of Watzmann! It‘s one of the most iconic places in Germany and maybe whole Europe. I can promote to take the „Jenner“ gondola for an amazing view. Keep up the great work, greatings from Bavaria✌️

The best landscapes of Spain are with no doubts the ones in the basque country, there you have sea, mountain, amazing villages and even architecturally awesome buildings in the cities there, such us bilbao and san sebastian, i hope you´ll visit one day, its the shocking country inside a shocking country

If you want to check other cool places in Alicante you have Calpe, Altea or Javea. And Murcia has so much more than La Manga, there's 247km of beaches, and a lot of them are accessible by an easy hike. Murcia has beautiful hiking places too, like Monte Arabí, Sierra Espuña or Carrascoy
