Items like Eviolite and Light Ball don't double/boost the base stats, they boost the stats the Pokemon has in the game itself, which makes these items 20x times better :) That's why Azumarill is so good in Competetive because it basically gets a Sword Dance for free with its ability. (Otherwise it would have a 100 base attack which would be mediocre at best)

The Dex says it’s literally hotter than the sun, it’s color is the estimated color of that temperature as we’d see it (our view would be wrong as it’s actually outside our color range).

Actually, Shiny Magcargo makes a lot of sense being violet/pinkish: You know that there's is the concept of colour temperature, stating that a thing of a certain temperature would emit light of a certain wavelength and thus appear in a certain colour. Since Magcargo has a super high body temperature it would actually emit light in the violet spectrum. And that's why it's actually the best pink shiny there is. It's still a pink shiny though...

The only Pokémon I ever found use of the everstone for, Vigoroth. Genuinely interested if anyone else does the and when playing gen3. Always loves sloth’s so I liked slaking but slaking just seemed shitty to me. Losing a whole turn might be worth it if the stats were doubled but slakings star bonus compared to vigoroth isn’t even that much. Plus vigoroths crazy high speed mixed with generally decent stats makes him a good Pokémon, however when combined with his ability to negate sleep moves like hypnosis and sleep powder make for easy wins in battles that can often be either genuinely difficult or just plain frustrating

You would also want to hold Shroomish's evolution until lv 40. Then it learn spore which can put to sleep with 100 accuracy. Breloom doesn't ever learn this move. When you finally get Breeloom with spore you'll get a excelent pokemon hunter for shiny hunts or the like. Breloom can learn false sweep and can have technician as Hidden ability which made it more effective. You can also give a silk scarf and teach it sword dance if you want to be in the safe side.

I’m sure this has been pointed out, but Dobbs multiplying a stat with light ball or eviolite is not just increasing the base stat, but the number itself. For example, with a light ball, pikachu’s Special attack becomes the equivalent of a 150 base special attack, not 110. Doubling the stat doesn’t double the base, it’s a more complex formula than that.

I've always felt that dragonair looks a lot better than dragonite. Dragonite looks so dopey and it reminds of that stupid kids show dragon tail, dragonair by comparison looks elegant and powerful and really reminds me of milotic which is another one of my favorites. I hope at some point gamefreak gives dragonair an alternate final evolution like poliwhirl has, one that is more in line visually with it's first two.

Actually... Prankster raises the priority of status moves by one, not to +1. This means a -6 priority move (like roar) would be raised to -5 priority. Edit: You also mentioned Ferrothorn using spikes, stealth rocks and *toxic spikes*. Can Ferrothorn even learn toxic spikes?
