Absolutely love the reno/rehab/reuse mindset. There are so many structures we could absolutely NOT replicate today. Why destroy them? Let's just repurpose them. Everyone's happy!

That's why I love this channel. Who would have thought to profile these kinds of reuse/rehabs?

Lake Front Brewery in Milwaukee, WI is another fine example of a repurposed power plant. Great beer, tour and fish fry too!

Just found your channel and really enjoy your take on the built and almost-built environment, including nuclear plants that appear to be brutalism at its best. Maybe a little off your track, but Columbus is a small Indiana town that was named America's 6th Most Architecturally Important City by the AIA in 2012. J. Irwin Miller, chairman of Cummins Engine Co., established a program that brought in international superstars to fill this town of 50,000 with amazing stuff. Thanks again for your always-interesting essays.

No mention of Battersea Power Station used as Pink Floyd's "Animals" iconic album cover is a big oversight.

Aw, you missed mine! Seattle Power plant was almost turned into condos, but then it sold and became a lab, Zymogenetics. so BOOO, but still an interesting video. Then there's Toledo, and Milwaukie you left out, looks like you'll have to do a part two.
