I agree with Mesagog's high placement on the list. Not only is he powerful, but he is also downright cruel and terrifying. In the Ninja Storm crossover episode, when Lothor's help proved to be useless to him, he defeated Lothor one on one in a quick fight in his laboratory and imprisoned him into one of his glass jars. I believe Mesagog is also the villain that came the closest to victory. He was mere seconds away from completing his goal, only for Connor to clutch and the Dino Rangers just managed to destroy his lab before he could complete his goal. Not only that, but he tortured his own servants. Ripping Elsa's powers from her once she was no longer useful and Zeltrax depended on Mesagog to even LIVE. I'm glad he got such a high spot on the list, it's definitely deserved. (Not to mention he could have killed Tommy, Trent and Mercer at various points in the series.)

Lothor was my absolute favorite. He wasn’t the scariest, but he was definitely the biggest personality. I loved his fourth wall breaks and how he even served as a form of comic relief. He was just a fun villain.

Yh same I loved Lothor even though most people hated him because of how comical he was but they forget that's because Ninja Storm is one of the more campy and light-hearted seasons and despite his goofy and campy personality he's actually one of the smartest villains for an example his main plan during the whole season was to only open the Abbys of the Evil to resurrect all his monsters and no one would have saw that plan coming with Lothor's dumb and goofy persona.The only thing I wish they did more with Lothor's character is give more information about his backstory and origin as all we know about Lothor is that he's the twin brother of Sensei and was an Earth Ninja student at the Wind Ninja Academy who's strive and greed for power led him to steal the samurai amulet which led to him getting banished and seeking revenge but there must have been a reason he was really greedy maybe he had a bad childhood or used to get bullied so the creators could have put that kind of story there which would have been sick and interesting anyway sorry for the whole paragraph I just really love Lothor and just glad too see there' someonelse who does too

One other thing that I would add to Trakeena's entry--the way she goes out in the crossover with Lightspeed Rescue is a fitting end for her character. In doing whatever it takes to destroy the Rangers, she gave up her beauty in Lost Galaxy, but in the crossover, she loses *everything* when she inadvertently turns into a Lovecraftian abomination.

I am forced to watch Power Rangers because of my baby bro, but out of the last three series (Dino Charge, Megaforce, and Samurai). Samurai is the best, i actually wanted to watch and it was an awesome series altogether. Focusing on friendship and trust, even going the limit and giving each Ranger their own episodes and letting each of them have the spotlight at times.

I know these guys are exclusive to Super Sentai but the main villains of Toqger are one of my favorite ranger baddies. Not so much due to how evil or intimidating they were but due to how interesting and compelling their side story was. While the Rangers were busy fighting of the next random monster of the day, the villain basically had their own little soap opera drama going on between themselves. A love triangle, an arranged marriage, betrayals, side switching, rivalries, I honestly couldn't get enough of it.

They shouldn't because someone is bound to screw it up. It's like one of the least agreed on things in power ranger. Some people consider the 6th Ranger to be Rangers who joined the team 7th others consider Rangers teams that have less than 6 people to have 6th Rangers and others consider 1 or 2 teams to have more than one if you ask me I think it's ridiculous. First of all trent isn't a 6th Ranger and neither is gemma. Shadow ranger, udonna, elephant ranger, and the Phantom Ranger are 6th rangers. And robo knight isn't he's a Ranger like ally. Also last but not least magna defender is a 6th Ranger and all this stuff is completely ridiculous and there's like no common sense here I swear.

I disagree mostly because the term "6th ranger" is misleading. It originates from Tommy, since he joined after the team was formed and was the 6th ranger in that team. To qualify as a "6th ranger" for me, the only requirement is that you have to not be part of the team from the start, be a regular main cast member who stays with the team, and actually have ranger powers that are used on a regular basis. Doesn't matter what number they are.

Here are my top ten Power Ranger villains and some reasons why: 1. Lord Zedd/Emperor of Evil (Original Power Rangers) (It's the most obvious and most popular choice. He is probably one of the most (if not the most) sinister Power Rangers villain and he has a very good design and sinister voice. He is certainly the creepiest villain. It is a shame that parents toned him down though. Having said that, he still deserves to be number 1 in my book.) 2. Astronema/Princess of Evil (In Space) (She is the cutest but one of the most sinister and deadly power rangers villains out there. Furthermore, she is skilled in hand to hand and weapon combat and in magic. In addition, she wasn't always evil. In fact, she was kidnapped by Darkonda and then brainwashed by Dark Specter and Ecliptor. Also, she is actually the sister of the red power ranger and the reveal showing that was awesome. Plus, she is the first villain to redeem herself in the next Power Rangers series after In Space. She reminds me of Darth Vader but without her wearing mask and without her dying.) 3. Ransik (Time Force) (He sounds and looks like a future time pirate. Plus, this is a villain you might want to feel sorry for because he was shunned from society after his chemical accident and that he is a half human and half mutant. In addition, he had a change of heart at the end of Time Force and redeems himself in Wild Force. Furthermore, like Astronema, he is skilled in hand to hand combat and weapon combat and has some magical abilities like telekinesis and astral projection.) 4. Frax (Time Force) (This villain I feel more sorry than Ransik because Ransik helped create him from a regular human into an evil and deranged robot. Plus, he was killed at the end of Time Force even though he did have a change of heart near the end of Time Force. Furthermore, he nearly killed Ransik when he destroyed Ransik's serum just like Ransik nearly killed the guy who late becomes Frax. In summary, Frax had a very good motive to betray Ransik. Finally, like Ransik, he (with the help of his robot army) is a challenging threat to the Power Rangers.) 5. Rita Repulsa (Original Power Rangers) (She is the first Power Rangers main villain. Plus, she reminds me of the Wicked witch in the Wizard of Oz. After all, her voice is not far off from the Wicked witch in the Wizard of Oz. Plus, she marries Lord Zedd in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Season 3. If Lord Zedd is the emperor of evil, she would be the empress of evil.) 6. Ivan Ooze (Power Rangers movie) (The reason why I ranked him in this position is because he had one movie. If he was the main antagonist of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers in Season 3, I would have ranked him higher than every villain on the list. Plus, he is more powerful and perhaps more sinister than Lord Zedd and Rita Repulsa. However, I prefer Lord Zedd's appearance over Ivan Ooze's appearance.) 7. Psycho Rangers (In Space) (This is the evil version of the Power Rangers.) 8. Queen Bansheera (Lightspeed Rescue) (If the Power Rangers thought Diabolico was tough and sinister, then they should get a load of Queen Bansheera. She is a level above Diabolico in terms of toughness and being sinister.) 9. Master Org (Wild Force) (He is another villain that you should feel sorry for. And he killed the leading ranger's parents.) 10. Mesagog (Dino Thunder) (This is a villlain you should feel sorry for just like Frax and Ransik and Astronema and Master Org. After all, he was a human that was involved in an accident that made him into a evil Dinosaur-like freak. However, he changes from human to dinosaur or dinosaur to human from time to time. He is essentially the Jekyll/Hyde villain in the Power Rangers universe.) Honorable Mentions: Diablico(Lightspeed Rescue) Goldar (Original Power Rangers), Dark Specter (In Space) and Ecliptor (In Space) Trakeena (Lost Galaxy)

John Berris True the doc "created" him. But if you look at his soldiers they look like updated Cogs, and they even move like them. He basically pulled a skynet move seeing as when the Machine Empire invaded earth back in '96-97 our technology wasn't anywhere close to what it would've been when this Venjix took over. What if it is the same and the doc "assumed" she created it...when in actuality all she did was give it another physical body? Cause this Venjix basically attempted to restart the Machine Empire with better and more advanced technology.

Not enough said about Ransik He is one of the few villains ever to not be defeated by the Power Ranger team of their series. During the final fight, he defeats all the rangers singlehandedly. He ultimately chooses to surrender and turn himself in after seeing his hatred almost cost him Nadira ( his daughter ) :v

Doesn't completely make up for all he did, but it did put him in a better direction. Even Cole believed in him because he sensed it in Ransik's heart. That tells us that not every villain is evil through and through. Astranima proves it as well and even made amends to her sins when Kendrix picked her to become the pink lost galaxy ranger after her.

Mesogog was my favourite villain because of how intimidating his slithery voice sounded how reptilian he looked in contrast to the Dino Rangers as dinosaurs are reptiles and not only that but how he was becoming more animalistic over the series and gradually became more of what he wanted the world to be populated by (Dinosaurs) particularly when he separated from Dr Anton Mercer who was the one part of humanity that kept his human characteristics and mentality in check leaving only his speech as a human trait but even that started to get more reptilian to the point where his final form was devoid of any aspect of humanity (even speech) to give him the look and sound of an utter dinosaur who is only animal inside and out and to symbolize how obsessed he had become over the series in seeing earth return to the age of the dinosaurs.
