This is the most Extra way to measure Trim. Just measure its length and cut it to fit. That's all Building is. Measuring a shape to fit a space.

Corners are either a Y or an Arrow. That's the trick I use. Building isn't as complicated as it seems. It's all pretty basic.

@@joetritone3944 Corners that point toward the wall are an arrow, if they point at you it's a Y. That's just how I do it. I had to learn trim on my own and made alot of mistakes before I figured out how to do corners that weren't perfect 45 degrees.

How to complicate a simple task would be a better title. Maybe, even how to make a poor fitting joint an more time consuming even worse poor fitting joint. High Level Handyman ...... I don't think so. Why take something so simple & complicate it for no gain? For example corner the mitered base board @ 11:45 ....... 4 X 22.5 deg cuts Nice clean joints everywhere with no need to 'adjust' thickness of corner profile. Profile matches perfectly regardless of how complex or simple the shape is. While were on maths ..... Where is the 10 inventions .... You need to learn to count as well.
