Shady Canyon is private, El Dorado is 5 of 10 at best, Industry Hills is run down. Arroyo Trabuco is a great course, no houses on it, secluded links style course with a great clubhouse.

For public courses, I like Tijeras Creek, Black Gold and Arroyo Trabuco-putting El Dorado on this list makes this list null. El Dorado is probably not in the top 50.

Brookside in Pasadena used to be an amazing public muni. Montebello Golf Course used to be a great course, then they went weddings and that “Top Golf “ nonsense. All that’s left is a tiny “executive” golf course for beginners.

Big rec. is way better than El Dorado. The 2 PGA courses in Beaumont - Legends and Champions were great prior to the Indians taking them over.
