I've listened to the Ramones' 1970s music thousands of times, but they started to decline after 1980. Still they do have a few good post-1980 tunes - Bonzo Goes to Bitburg, Wart Hog.

I infer that your favorite Ramones albums are: brain drain, road to ruin, animal boy, and pleasant dreams! you should definitely find some more cool riffs on halfway to sanity and too tough to die! (not to mention the first 3 albums, end of the century, subterranean jungle, and adios amigos!)

80's Ramones is good Ramones. Pleasant Dreams is my fave Ramones album. I always said it was the album Ric Ocasek dreamed of making.

@@andrewlemke2669 Yeah, that's a good one. Has 60's vibes, really good power pop, and is the most "Joey" of Ramones albums. "7-11" and "don't go" are my favorite tunes on it, aling with the singles. The remastered version with extra songs (my favorite is the early demo of "I can't get you outta my mind") is worth hearing also.

ah come on, this is not their revolutionary stuff but just mainstream rock when they were no trendsetters anymore their numbers lasted too long', good songs more complicated but had nothing to with their classic work that made them the best and most important punkrockband there ever was and will be.
