The 1875 farthing apparently had a mintage of 712,760, so was even less than the 1887! The 1881H farthing also had a mintage of 1,792,000 - the reason the 1881H and 1882H mintage figures are the same is that Heaton's contract was to produce a weight of coins rather than a particular number - 1,792,000 farthings weighed 5 tons. The Royal Mint in the early days of bronze coinage production also minted to a set weight rather than number or value, for example the 1863 mintage of 1,433,600 is 4 tons of coins - a value of £1,493 6s 8d or 1,493 and one third pounds.

Another nice video. I have been collecting Victoria farthings from 1860 recently, and have only two gaps in my collection. The first is 1863, much rarer than the mintage figure suggests, and the prices paid suggest the official Royal Mint figure is incorrect (too high). I do have one coming from the USA, can't wait for it to arrive! The second is an 1875 no H farthing. There seem to be very few of these out there and they command stellar prices. I am amused that 1892 comes in number 1 in your list for rarity, as I have easily picked up two examples at very reasonable price!

3:22 Minor correction (essentially a nitpick) here, bronze coins made the change in 1895 ;) Also, I'd suggest changing the grades for evaluation - I've seen a model using G, XF and UNC and I think it's better at representing the price range :)

I got an 1878, 1913, and an 1925 farthings. They were given to my mother by a woman she took care of at a retirement home when she was young. Pretty neat coins.
