AP What is wrong with a doctor using his knowledge, money and platform to make something bigger for himself and others? Just because some aspire to do bigger things doesn’t make them less of a physician. If you actually listened, a couple doctors here developed hundreds of ways to advance medicine or cancer research, or simply donated a large part of their fortune for the sake of medicine. I’m sure these contributions have a much larger impact than your local community family physician. But again, there is nothing wrong with that and all doctors both big and small are needed and have their place in society.

@adam parker1 it takes a maximum of 8 to 9 years inorder to specialise. And 5 years of residency, so therefore 14 years to become a specialist. Go educate yourself, don't talk shit on the internet

@@pathmaker2337 umm.... 3-4 years of undergrad(aka college, *fun fact* you don't need to finish your bachelor's degree to go to med school, you can cut it short if you do research on what classes are needed and if you did well on the MCAT.), then 4-5 years of graduate (aka med school, the majority choose to have a "research" year that's where the 5th year comes in), then 3-8 years of residencies/fellowships. So a minimum of 11 years and a Maximum of 16 years. and if you want to get technical when you start your residency you are working as a real doctor you're just not getting paid the big bucks. You are really just getting experience during your residency, so i personally don't count residence as school or being a "student." Go educate yourself!

Interesting video. The top 4 docs got their wealth because of some pharmaceutical company, business/firm or patents. The middle two doctors (5 and 6) from T.V. and professional athletes. The bottom 4 got their wealth from most likely women wanting to change something about themselves. The lesson I learned here is if you want to be rich you have a great chance to at least cater to the easy spending of women.

Especially the higher paid ends like surgery, you need a very specific group of people who can literally cut into someone through pretty graphic methods, And work cool and calmly under tense pressure knowing that you could easily kill the person if you do the wrong thing. No wonder some studies have found that surgeons with psychopathic personalities tend to work in those areas: you need that tier of endurance.

Too surgeons disciplines are necessary to cure . NAtural medicine can be purchased at GNC after the doctors have completed there clinical rotations. I worked centuries in sports medicine and the cures you get from the gyms now are amazing.
