Honestly yeah I agree with you, Like in the end game yeah both of them are the worst and we have every reason to hate them both but Ross’s death wasn’t even that satisfying I mean he got to live into old age and didn’t even get killed by any of the main gang just the one kid who was supposed to never be like that- so we’re more the losers for that one. But Micah on the other hand even though technically he had nothing to do with Arthur’s demise he was the reason that loving gang family was driven apart and had a lot of their members killed so seeing him die was so much more satisfying knowing that the living members did it for Arthur. That was satisfying as heck.

I didn't find Ross satisfying at all: he died at old age, after living his whole life. Killed by the son of John, who he tried his best to not envolve him into this shit storm. Lived his whole life unpunished and corrupted even John's son. That's not satisfying, it's sad

I was mostly satisfied, just wished we could've soiled his name as well so that people would know. But he's still good and dead in Mexico. Especially as Ross met Jack by the river as he was fishing and then dies by Jack shooting him as he's fishing at the river. And if it makes you feel somewhat better, Jack apparently does leave the life later on and becomes a writer as his book can be seen in another Rockstar Game. (From what I read).

That's a very fair assessment. I personally think that this instance appeals to both. The killing itself IS satisfying because you see a corrupt man(who wasn't against bending the rules to benefit himself)get hit with some firm retribution but you also see a young man who was capable of so much more than being an outlaw throw that potential away so that he can avenge his father. It's a complex issue that compliments the story very well but doesn't take away from the fact that a crooked man was served with the justice he deserved. It's bitter sweet.

Starkweather is played to perfection by Brian Cox. I remember hearing his voice the first time I fired it up, and thinking "Brian Cox, is a good first sign". What an epic game. I also hated his character.

Rafe was the best villain from Uncharted. We met him at the beginning unlike most villains. And he had a history with the Drake’s. He didn’t just want the treasure like the others too, he wanted that AND revenge against the Drake’s. He’s what helped make Uncharted 4 Uncharted 4

Every villain in the series apears early in their respective games, Roman & Navarro in third chapter, Lazarevic in the third too and Marlowe and Talbot in the very first chapter. I agree, Rafe was resentful towards Nate because he wanted the glory for discover a treasure and a lost city, something that he cannot do in his entery life when Nathan Succesfully discovered three lost cities in fifteen years while he still was stuck in his quest of Henry Avery's treasure and Libertalia, and when Nate resume this quest he was able to progress in only weeks everything that Rafe couldn't in all those years, and even when Nate offered him to keep the treasure and the glory, the only thing in Rafe's mind was murder Nate because of how insanely jealous was for Nate's achivements, the fact that he wants the glory more than the treasure or a weapon likes Lazarevic and Marlowe and his hate and envy towards Nate makes him a unique and interesting villain, to the point that his death can feel a bit anticlimatic and dumb.

I agree, although the only stretch, I would say, is being called "hated." His death may have been deserved, but I thought he was the least hateable Uncharted villain. Still enjoyed the poetic justice of the treasure though. It was a bit too blunt for my taste, but involving the same treasure he chased made up for it.

Yeah, the sad part of David's death was it was also the death of Ellie's innocence. If you go back and play the game, you'll notice she stopped trying to whistle, humming, telling jokes. All very sad !!

The first time I killed Salazar in RE4 was epic. I was low on ammo from the start, and by the end, I was completely out. All I had left was 1 revolver round, was very far away and low on health. Headshot! That last bulled killed him. It was a perfect action hero moment, all that was missing is a bad one liner.

The same happened to me with Lucas Baker in RE7 Not a Hero on the hardest difficulty. Near the very end in his second phase, I was all out of bullets, down to my knife and medkits, and did the only thing I was able to do, go up to that bastard and keep on slashing n' stabbing his heart while healing myself when close to death. Without anymore medkits and with one last thrust of my knife, I was able to take Lucas down through the skin of my teeth.

Ten more for ya. *10: M. Bison, Street Fighter.* Not every ending in the franchise has him meet his end, in fact some has him actually win. But based on what this guy has done whether it be in the Street Fighter V Alpha series or the games themselves show him to be a truly vile character. Him getting his comeuppance for everything from video taping his assault on Chun li or the slaughter of Native Indians is so satisfying. *9: Shao Khan, Mortal Kombat.* Khan, and the likes of Shang Tsung, Frost, and D'vorrah played Street Fighter and told Bison, Balrog and Vega, 'Hold our beer and watch this.' As the main antagonist Khan's vileness is beyond question, from his indulging in slavery and torture to the fact he wants to turn all the realms into a hellish wasteland, whether it be through actually beating him in story or arcade mode...a tall order, or using the many many *many* fatalities as a means of sending him to an early grave, just being able to beat him alone puts him on the list. *8: Hojo, Final Fantasy.* Many may point to Sephiroth based on his actions...do we really need spoiler tags at this point? Or technically Jenova. He was just a mad dog so let's look to who let him off the leash. Hojo is responsible for so much wrong in the world of Final Fantasy, from driving Sephiroth to madness to what he did to Vincent to the attempted force breeding of Aerith and Red XIII, taking out one of the most vile villains is easily up there with making Kafta pay for what he did. *7: Luca Blight, Suikoden.* It's a hard puck between him and Neclord over who is more vile, who spends every scene trying as hard as they can to be a monster, and how satisfying it is to kill them. Based on difficulty and the fact he dies bragging about the evil and torment he committed Luca Blight takes the spot. He was so bad his own government betrayed him, it took an actual army, archers, three squads of your best soldiers, more archers, and a one on one duel to finally puthim down. Accomplish this and you can truly take pleasure in his final breaths. *6: Raidou, Dead or Alive.* The satisfaction in this death is who gets to do it. As villains go, Kasumi's motivation for going after him was beating her brother into a coma but there is also how Ayane came to be, without going into detail. The soft spoken kind hearted ninja was beloved in the series and when she learns of what Raidou did she goes into a rage, going after him with murder in her heart. She may be imitating Mass Effect where Kasumi goes after Donovan these days but here she showed to have what it takes. And Ninja Gaiden proved her killing ability, a human ginzu showing even Mortal Kombat how it's done. *5; Brian Irons, Resident Evil.* First of all FTP, now this guy shows exactly why some hole true to that expression. He got his jollies killing any survivors and making it impossible for them to escape. A creepy taxidermist with a love of the dead, an actual physical love. he was crazy and evil long before this whether it be what the FBI uncovered or covering up the mansion incident and putting the city, heck the world, at risk. And then there was the orphanage, oh dear lord the orphanage. The Resident Evil 3 remake confirms your worst fears about this. Even if you don't do the deed yourself Irons even beats out Weaker as the most deserving. With the Nazi torture enjoying Ashfords a close second. *4: Zach Colson, Wing Commander.* His brother was killed when the Kilrathi tested a prototype weapon on Goddard that the Tigers Claw was too late in stopping. While being upset and angry is understandable his actions sure weren't. Vowing revenge he allies with his brother's killers, aides the human collaborators to help the alien threat to kill off humanity, has the Claw ambushed and destroyed then spends over a decade trying to kill the survivors, one in the cruelest way possible. Vain, arrogant, boasting about his vendetta on being found out, showing he cares nothing for humanity after he escapes death row, he may have had the callsign Jazz but making him play the harp at the end of Special Operations will have you feeling anything but the blues. *3: Kai Lang, Mass Effect.* The arrogant troll delights in hurting people, mocking the failures in stopping the threat posed to the entire universe, and goes down like a chump when you finally get to stop him. What makes this more rewarding is even after stopping him you're still not done, he comes back for more in a pathetic attempt to kill Shepard and, based on your actions, s/he makes him pay for it showing the kind of rightous fury only Gavin Archer earned at this point. *2: Livius Erimond, Dragon Age.* A few worthy candidates in the series, from Bann Vaghn especially in the City Elf Origin to Marjorlaine, heck Isabella is why I propose a top ten (1_1!\!+$ in gaming list. Erimond is responsible for corrupting the Grey Wardens to aid in raising a demon army to lay waste to the world. Make him tranquil? Sure, there's satisfaction in doing this. You can also get the satisfaction of personally executing him with that ceremonial sword Leliana gives you. Some fans will lean towards others, maybe Arl Reagan. And all are worthy contenders. Given the stakes however Erimond is right up there. *1: The Warlock, XCOM.* if you haven't played the game you should, it's basically chess where you choose how each piece looks and acts, oozing personality and a treat to play on PC. War of the Chosen has the cast of Star Trek playing the Rebel Alliance and you can even make them up, replete with modding in their looks and voice. It also brings in three alien antagonists, where the Assassin is merely meh and the Hunter is actually pretty cool, the Warlock is a dirty coward hiding from battle, letting his lackeys do fighting for him, and his endless taunting on how much he hates you and how great he thinks he is makes one wonder if maybe he was based on a former president. Getting him in a one shot repeater execution will propel whoever did it even past your Sarah Connor Jill Valentine, even the legendary Jane Kelly as your fave character.

*The Prophet Of Truth - Halo 3* Although he’s not the most powerful villain in terms of fighting and battle skill, he is quite arguably the most cruel villain in the entire franchise. In the previous game “Halo 2”, Truth and the Brutes decided to change the Covenant by causing a genocide on their own Elites for a so-called “Great Journey.” This would include their Arbiter (Who you also play in the game along with Master Chief), but luckily he was able to avoid death, form a resistance against the Covenant with the other surviving elites and join with the Humans as an ally. Those genocidal acts in that game already made Truth a sick and twisted individual, but pile that with the fact that he let one of his prophet brothers “Mercy” die to the flood without even assisting him or caring and he is a truly vile being. But he still took that twisted behaviour in Halo 3 to new levels when he wanted to activate the Ark and when his group killed Miranda Keyes. Thankfully the Master Chief and the Arbiter were able to stop him from activating the Ark thanks to a brief truce with the Flood and the Arbiter dealt the final killing blow with his sword. Considering it was done by The Arbiter himself makes it even more satisfying as it was vengeance fulfilled for the brothers he lost in the Elite Genocide. I am honestly shocked he wasn’t in this list at all. What do you think of Truth?

Lily from Telltale's Walking Dead was good. Sure, a bunch of people stupidly told AJ to put the gun down (Lily is a traitor, why the hell would you NOT shoot her!? She's like Corey from Coronation Street, she only acts pitiful when outgunned!), but if you tell him to ice her... Oh, it's just so delightful seeing AJ fire every damn bullet into her and watching the shock in her face when she realizes she's lost.

One of my favorites is Jacob danik from dead space 3 sure it wasn't the best game of the dead space series but when the leader of a terrorist group kills innocent people and releases a hoard of necromorphs onto a city and causes a galactic invasion of moon sized necromorphs dies by his own doing is pretty good

Speaking of Persona 5/Persona 5 Royal another one to add is Masayoshi Shido. That guy was a bigger asshole. Dude utterly destroyed multiple lives, played the Phantom Thieves like a fiddle after they got on his radar with the Kamoshida situation, manipulated numerous people for so many years, stole both Wakaba's and Maruki's works, etc. Too bad he didn't die though. Had it not been for the fact that they needed to clear Ren's name. I'm pretty sure that the Phantom Thieves would have actually offed him.

Not even a mention of Jessica from Saint's Row 2? That was one of the most satisfying revenge missions ever. After what they did to Carlos, it wasn't just a gruesome revenge kill - your character made sure to crush Maero's soul as well. And the smug way your character rubs it in Maero's face as his realization slowly starts to sink in was just the cherry on top of the cake.

Yeah, I felt Julius and the business guy (so forgettable) didn't have the dramatic flair to be epic. That said, it's a pity we never got the mobile game where Dex is killed. Killed by a remote control bullet fired from 10 blocks away and guided through a series of buildings? It would've been pretty cool.

the thing about Shephard's death is, he won in the end. he achieved his goal, hundreds of thousands of men were drafted, and world war 3 was started. the man went down in history as a war hero.

ohhhh Irene Engel, and she's far from an angel one of my favourite villains in games, she has such amazing moments such as the purity test in the first game and not only that it seems like you'll never be rid of her after she survives having her jaw partially ripped off and then thrown against a tree hell she actually kills you, kinda, either way seeing her finally kick it was the most satisfying thing

My satisfying moment was Alexander Hamilton from AC5. All throughout the game until mission 19, I trusted him. You didn't have any reason not to. Until you find it that he was a pilot in the 8492nd squadron. In mission 27, just before the final mission, you and your squadron destroy the SOLG control system, a satellite capable of shooting a MIRV middle that can wipe out half the cities in Osea or Yuktobania. After flying through the tunnel, which he is chasing you, you find out that he was killed by a ricocheting plane. I let out such a heavy sigh after that.

I don't know how Ray Sullivan from the original version of Dead Rising 2 didn't make this list, guy was rotten to the core from the start but managed to keep it well hidden, and when the player finally discovers the truth, all of his actions during the story until that point makes perfect sense. Literally tries to justify killing innocent people to mass produce an anti-zombie drug and doesn't even seem to regret it in the slightest.

Honestly, the fact that Marston can't gun down Ross (even though he is shown to be in the crowd of soldiers himself in the cutscenes) as the ultimate revenge is honestly extremely frustrating. Especially when you realize that NOT being able to do so actually lead Marston's son down the same path as his father, the killer's path. The path that John didn't want for his child.

In the case of Tenpenny, I actually hated his partner even more. The chase to get after him was so annoying that, when I finally got him, it was so very satisfying. Before he kept going in circles at a town and evading everything while cop cars keeps ruining any car I had. I eventually got him by hitting my car into his while going down a mountain road, knocking him off the cliff. Apparently the npc is so intent on following the set path that he kept on trying to drive back up the sheer cliff, making him easy for once.

Personally will argue with Calypso Twins, Troy wasn't really super hated, Tyreen definitely was, but neither death of them were satisfying. Considering Tyreen wasn't even in the cutscene directly after their defeat. While Troy was at the time kind of being built up as an under dog that may have bitten back at tyreen if it wasn't for the odd story building the game had.

Didn't make the list, Kronika from Mortal Kombat 11. Her death in the MK story mode and arcade mode was just satisfying, Kronika is clearly unfit as the MK main antagonists. Sticking to MK in the past and retro entries, seeing Shao Khan's gruelling death in every MK as a final boss is very satisfying, that being said he's cheap final boss in every way.
