With Green Lantern I remember there was so much hype. It was snowballed out of control too. Things on social media went quickly from “I wonder if they will set up the other lanterns?” to “they are going to tease the other lanterns existing!” to “they are going to show Dex’Star getting his Red Lantern ring!” Honestly if the kept things a lot simpler, to at the times Hal’s origin that did tease red lanterns & blackest night, but then move to Sinestro training Hal & betraying the corps would have worked so much better than going for a cosmic entity right away

Giving Enchantress a Mayan look was a fancy touch and matches with her dance that doesn't bother me. Morbius was a good film to me and my family, I just don't what to say about Milo since I never heard of him. Got to agree with Eisenberg's Lex didn't seem like Lex Luthor. There were like some Joker traits in there, and all of his motives was purely out of jealousy and proving his opinion about gods. Viewing himself as a god cause of how smart he is and jealous of Superman cause of his actual godlike powers. I don't get why people shit on Eddie Redmayne's acting in this movie. He perfectly portrayed how completely unsettled Balem's character is. You have to think about how he's (Balem) been breaking down since confronting his own cognitive bias since his mother (who taught him how to think in a way that justifies being the CEO of the leading Regenex company) suddenly switches her thinking, abandons the company and stops using the product that keeps her alive. Could you imagine how conflicted, confused, scared, and hurt he'd be, seeing the mother he adores suddenly change and willingly start dying, suffering from her epiphany and trapped in the business machine she helped create? All while struggling to understand what she's doing, when he used to be so certain about life and how things "are;" suddenly, that's all changed and he's faced with the challenge of simultaneously taking over managing his mother's massive company, while the source of his conviction and confidence he requires to do so, Seraphi, is declining. For Balem, I'm sure it was his love for his mother; seeing her suffer, seeing her struggle in vain to change this sick business, and watching her become more and more vulnerable from the lack of Regenex; that is the reason why he uses the same sick justification for killing her as an "act of mercy," as he does for the people he creates and kills for the Regenex he uses; "Most of them were miserable in their lives and what we do for them is a mercy." Given all this, yes; Balem would be a mess inside, hence his erratic, raving behaviour and strange obsession with his mother. It's the thing he can't get over. And here he is, confronted by it all again with Jupiter staring him in the face. It's why he can't really see her as anything but Seraphi; he's still stuck in that however long ago that Seraphi had her epiphany. But people only see Redmayne's portrayal of Balem's character on a surface level; as him overacting, and something ridiculous. This isn't necessarily the viewer's fault, as the story-telling was sped up to include what I imagine would otherwise have been a fleshed out series. But that's just my guess and I need more evidence to back that up. In any case, the story had too much detail crammed in for a 2 hour movie and so, first time watchers can miss a lot and see it just for whatever stood out the most; in this case, Redmayne's acting of Balem's obviously unsettled character. Given my reasoning above, I don't think Redmayne did a poor job acting Balem's character at all. I think he did exactly what he was called to do and portrayed this unstable antagonist in all of his excruciated and disturbed glory. But the reason why Balem acts as he does takes time to delve into his character and imagine what he's been through; something your average movie goer probably doesn't have the time or desire for, nor should they be necessarily expected to do.

Two things: one, Thor: the Dark World would've benefitted if instead of Malekith, the Aether remained the movie's threat. Imagine it like this: Jane finds the Aether -> the Aether starts killing Jane -> Thor discovers that the cure could be found in the ruins of the Dark Elves' world -> Odin prohibits Thor going there, because the land had become dangerous as there were no more dark elves to maintain it -> Thor still goes, encountering "enemies" that the Dark World's magic filled air creates, but that end up being illusions of the past ->Thor manages to reach the cure, but is met by an Aether possessed Jane -> After a battle, Thor kills Jane to contain the Aether -> After containing the Aether, Thor arrives at the home Tanleer Tivan the Collector only to be met by a figure at the entrance (the figure could be future Thor, perhaps) wearing a cloak. Thor gives the Aether to the figure -> End credits. The second thing, Eddie Brock wasn't jacked enough to be a menacing Venom. They should've introduced Cletus Cassidy as Carnage instead if they wanted skinny and menacing. If they wanted a menacing Venom, then Eddie really needed to hit the gym before becoming him. Also, they needed more motivation for Venom to go after Peter. The symbiote could've been more fleshed out, maybe even still reaching for Peter even as it bonded with Eddie. Resentment and dependance. A good cocktail for a villain. As for Eddie? They didn't need to invent the wheel. They could've cut out Sandman from the movie and started with the Lizard aka Curt Connors instead. JJ in his infinite wisdom would promise a reward for photos of Spidey duking it out with the Lizard. Peter would carry this out perfectly, but Eddie would be delayed (maybe the only bridge to the fight took place broke down or worse Spidey webs him up to protect him from the Lizard, making him unable to reach his camera). Eddie's fired and obviously bitter losing to a rookie and that goes double when not only he catches a cold from freezing weather, but also his apartment is closed as Eddie couldn't pay the rent to the landlord as he promised to pay it with the money from the Spidey pics. Eddie and Venom merge. Two hateful and surprising villains created.

To this day, I still believe that the scene with Venom bonding with Eddie in the bell tower should have been the end of SM3. Wrap up the sandman plot, maybe the Harry Goblin one too, then let the fourth film have Peter trying to undo the damage done to his life whilst Eddie/Venom stalks him showing his superiority, driving him to desperation as every part of his life is infiltrated. If they felt it was a bit empty then they could have brought in the Lizard as the foe Peter starts out chasing, given that they’d already introduced Curt Connors in the trilogy (although I’d have saved him for a subsequent ‘animal themed’ trilogy with Lizard, Rhino, Vulture, Scorpion and topped with Kraven being seeded across two films then becoming the main villain in the third)

now in the case of Jared Leto's Joker is bad. there is that fine line between sane and insane, Joker is the perfect example of that premise, you can't help but think is he sane?, is he insane?, every example of him (Comic's, Animated and Live Acting) show that. every actor who has either voiced or played him have show the Joker skates along the razor's edge of sanity. Mark Hamill's voice in animated versions of Joker is mind blowing to the point of with every spoken word , there is that fine line and Mark delivers it perfectly. Heath Ledger and Joaquin Phoenix showed how Joker should be in the movies, they set the bar very high and will be hard to beat their performance playing the Joker. Jack Nicholson was just being Jack Nicholson to me so I wasn't impressed much by his version , but you can still see the fine line between sane and madness. Cesar Romero of the Batman TV series back in the 60's even showed the twisted mind of that of the Joker (to think the TV show had rules on what can and can't be done) but Romero still managed to show that fine line. Jared leto was the finest example of a actor who had no clue, concept or even idea of how to play the Joker. there was no Fine line with him, more of a "what the f**k is he on" thought. he acted the part with more" a character who was on a very long drug trip and didn't even know what was going on around him. He didn't come across as sane or insane, to me he came across like some one who was on a bender (drugs or drink), every bit of his dialog had me thinking" does he even listen to what is being saidto him or is he just in his own little world" not once did I think I am watching the high wire walk of sanity, insanity, where one miss step and you plunge into either side of the abyss. no, I was watching a bloke with shinny gold teeth, green hair, bleached white skin on a chemically induced walk through a movie he was supposed to be in.

I know this two choices of my own won't be on the list but I think a Worst Movie villains should be 1.)Dr. Newton 'Newt' Geiszler from Pacific Rim Uprising since the film makers thought of the dumb twist of "Hey let's have the guy that actually SOLVED the problem of how to fight off the Kaiju for good in the first film is now a twist villain who gives Kaijus new Jaeger bodies and just wants the world to be given over to the Kaiju, making everything he did in the first film Pointless all because "Oh the creators of the kaiju told him to" which is a cop out for why he became a villain. The other is Quintessa from Transformers the Last Knight, since Honestly how many times are the Bayformers film gonna "We're gonna rebuild Cybertron But now we're gonna try this, this and this" At least the first film was about getting the allspark to rebuild Cybertron on their terms, and Sentinel's plan to use Earth's people and Resources to Rebuild Cybertron is at least Cartoon Accurate. What was Quintessa's plan again? Oh Right, to transfer the energy/lifeblood of Unicron(The earth's core and the sworn enemy of Primus and all Cybertronians.) to rebuild and restore Cybertron. Only one problem with that, Unicron's Blood would Ultimately Poison the planet. See back in the 2010 game War For Cybertron, Dark Energon aka Unicron's lifeblood was infecting the core of Cybertron slowly Poisoning and killing the planet. So the plan of Quintessa was to steal Unciron's Life to restore Cybertron only to watch it slowly Die again and thus be right back to Squire 1. NOT a great plan for either of these two villains but hey we can at least Laugh at their Sucktastic villainy.

I’m over the Jared Leto Joker hate. He gave a completely original and well acted performance that was heavily cut and edited into scenes that did not give his character time to shine.

For all of Morbius’s faults, Milo was actually the least worst thing about it. His character development could’ve worked more had there been an idea to justify Morbius’s heroism by just straight up taking the killer mantle by himself for his friend’s sake so Michael would forget about his need to feed on innocent people & just feast on lab rats & small animals
