This was very interesting to hear, since I had no idea about these. And just like you I also love Bangladeshi food, although I may be biased. Also, can you please do more videos based around ancient civilizationsa and ancient times in general? Not just urban legends but other videos about them as well.I find them and the ancient times in general very facinating.

The Dhaka Airport Road urban legend is something my maternal aunts and uncles used to tell me as back as the mid-90s! Lived in and around Dhanmondi 27 for years, there's also the legend of the Jinn Mosque, but the apartment building thing is new. Further down there's the Japan Garden residential area which is said to have a number of haunted apartments. But these are all the tell-tale talk. OFFICIALLY we have a number of "psychological outbreaks" that is recognised by our equivalent of the center for disease control who had to go and investigate. Hearing about the Juju for the first time today tho. You gotta work on the pronunciations tho, some of these locales felt unrecognisable xD Thanks for so much for making this!

Hello . I'm from Bangladesh & thanks a lot guys. Its really wonderful to see that you made a list of urban legends & famous local lores. Though its a very overpopulated country still some incidents including mysteries makes the news. Like the juju thing. Yes its a real local lore. I think more can be added to the list. Like the "Gorkhadok", its a supernatural creature that often digs the fresh graves & feasts on the human corpse. They takes the form of a doglike creature or sometimes some humanlike form. The Djin. Yes this Islamic supernatural creatures also hunts this land in occasional places. The "Nishi" . Its a form of spirit that calls sleeping people by names three times. "Gooepichas" are the sewer monsters dwelling mostly old bathrooms. More on the list of hunted places too. The historical Ahsan Manjil & Lalbag Fort , The Buriganga river ghat at night, an apartment complex situated at Uttara Dhaka, Azimpur graveyard makes some prominent lists.

I believe in the hearing babies cry in the golf place because back where my cousins live in biswanat (a bangladesh city or village mane.not to sure) my sister and others have actually heard crying and laughing from an abandoned house (no ones been in for over 20 years ive heard) next to the house that my cousins live in. I didn't believe in the noises until my sister said she heard it and another 2 people said that theve hears it before as well. However my uncle has never heard it but he does say that it's wierd coz other people have came over and said that they hear the same thing even tho he or no one told them about the noises and he also says that he's wanted to hear the sounds but never gets to coz when ever he goes close to the house at night he never hears them.

The Juju story is also pretty rampant in West Bengal, India. (We are all Bengalis after all). But I thought it was something elders use to scare children. It's really popular and even local songs have been made after this one.

*For Specific Information* I am a paranormal activities researcher and often pay visit to haunted places...legends about Airport Road,Banani Golf Heights and Dhanmondi 27 is true...In Banani when the smell comes from the graveyard,EMF reading gets increased at a very high unit..same point for Dhanmondi 27 and temperature of this area is quite low than nearby places. In Airport Road the place is between Nikunja and Biman Office. During night time, between the period of 1AM to 4AM this road feels quite cold even if it is summer and magnetic field remains a bit higher than other times of the day.
