Right, when I worked at McDonald's it was a tight ship.. So I don't get these horror fast foods stories. I've also worked at Subway, it was more laxed only because we didn't have that many customers I did wittiness someone give hard bread in a kids meal which was horrible. Not many people order kids meals from Subway. So I wouldn't advise it.

Story #2 reminds me of my story. I have a severe peanut allergy and when I was in elementary school my parents decided to get Chinese, they ask the people working there if they used any peanut products and they said they were a peanut free facility. Yeah turns out they use peanut oil and I got a trip to the emergency room.

As a Sonic employee, I can tell you that my store has NEVER had a problem with spider or pests of any kind. We keep our store and work spaces very clean. When half price shakes roll around, our blenders and fountainette/ice cream station can get a little bit messy but that's only because we have to make so many shakes in such a little amount of time. I think the worst thing I've ever witnessed was either a new girl mixing up some orders or a cook accidentally putting onions on a hot dog and the girl who ordered it was very allergic to them. My store is really good about sanitation and stuff like that.

When I was 17 I worked in a Morrison’s Cafe (here in England) and we had to do a deep clean. It was my job to clean under the drinks fridge. Something to bear in mind is that the cafe is right at the front of the store and the fridge is maybe 2 metres away from the tills. I had just moved the fridge when a customer pointed out that, lying where I’d just moved it from, was a very old looking used condom.

when I was a kid I worked at pizza hut. the one I worked at had the stingiest manager on the planet. we weren't allowed to throw any pizza away. pizza that people who dined in and didn't finish was to be kept until we had enough slices to make a full pizza, and then resold as a full pizza. in her mind it would save the store a lot of money. I complained to her that it was gross as hell but she just said that if I wanted to keep my job I would shut my mouth. I quit not long after and called the health department. needless to say that pizza hut was shut down and completely restaffed. even the district manager lost her job. I haven't eaten at a pizza hut since and that was over 20 years ago.

My first job, I worked at steak n shake and a co worker was pissed at a customer and literally hawked up a glob from her throat and dropped it in the customers shake!!! I was shocked... I've also worked at McDonald's, and a family resteraunt and never seen or dealt with ANYTHING else as disgusting as that or in this video. Thank God! My daughter works at a subway in Aust and i am happy to say. She has never had any horror stories. She always comes home seeming like strong cleaning products and sandwiches. Her store is big on cleaning and keeping this clean.

My cousin worked as a cook at the Outback in Greenville, SC and he's told me the horrible things he and his fellow cooks would do to food. The worst he claimed to do was dropping steak on the floor, stepping on it, then serving it. The worst thing anyone ever did, however, was dunk a steak in a toilet full of diarrhea then cooked and served it.
