@@Magic-komplexDescreaming women and crying children tend to be common lures to get people out of their houses. If they don't have someone to actually scream in the street, they'll play a recording. It's why, of you hear a kid crying or asking for help outside your house at night, just call the cops and don't open the door unless you can advisor see the kid, and even then be very cautious.

I have seen this before, with a screaming woman, in real life. The ones I have helped at, though, the screams were different. You can tell when someone is genuinely panicked, hurt, or afraid. Those I lent assistance to, including a woman who claimed she had just been sexually assaulted. I was pissed to find out that she had not been, but was instead incredibly drunk, and had been driving around town with police looking for her. She had nearly killed three people in the process. Her excuse was that she was fleeing from her attacker. Then she said she was suicidal. Actually, she had just been trying to drive home drunk, pulled up too far down our road past her house, and couldn't turn around. She admitted this to me when, after someone helping to park her car as I do not drive, I told her I had to call the police, as she had been assaulted. I said it was very important that police come out, immediately. But I was suspicious, as she didn't seem to have any details about what happened. She then changed her story and told me she had just come from a funeral, and that she was suicidal, but just needed to get back home and she would be ok. I told her, in that case, she needed an ambulance, I was not OK with letting her stay alone in her house being so drunk and feeling that way. She got mad at me, told me not to call, offered me money not to. Then she tried to flee but was so drunk she just fell over. She could hardly even sit up. I was angry at that point, as I am a genuine abuse survivor, and I found it utterly disgusting how she would use THAT as an excuse for her bad behaviour. I also suffer multiple complex mental health problems, and have been a counsellor, so I got even more quietly irritated when she tried the suicidal bit on me, citing the funeral she had just been to. I told her that was exactly a reason I was calling, she needed medical care. THEN she admitted that she was not suicidal, there was no funeral and had just been drinking heavily. By that time though, I had already placed the 999 call, which I did as soon as she mentioned having been assaulted. I did all this hobbling around on my crutches, as I'm disabled. It actually hurt me a lot to do it, but I thought it was an emergency, and as a woman, I wanted to protect and help another woman. I genuinely thought at first that she was in danger or distress. I was the only one who came out to help her in our street, it is not a good area. So,when I found out that it was all lies, I got quite annoyed. I sternly told her to stay exactly where she was, or she'd be sorry. Weirdly enough, she listened. I then berated her about lying about assault, and what it does to every other woman who is reporting a genuine incident. I had been caring and supportive at first, thinking she needed help. In the end she just hung her head, and said she was sorry. I also berated her about driving around so drunk that she couldn't even stand, and to behave herself like an adult. I was done taking anger from her, after she discovered that tears weren't working. She just gave up, and started crying about going to jail. I told her at that point, I didn't care if she did, because she deserved to be there. She begged me not to tell the police what was going on. I did anyway. When the police arrived, I took one of them aside and gave him a run down of what had happened, but out of her ear shot. I also handed them the keys to her car, which I had confiscated, as she had still been talking about driving away. They told me to stand back, which I did. She tried the same lies on them as she did me, but all it did was get her into more trouble. When she realised they weren't buying it, she flipped out, and fought them. She screamed obscenities at me, so I just went back inside. The whole thing was a huge drama. In the end, I had to go give a report at the station, and got home at midnight. I was exhausted. I learned later, as I said, that she had nearly run down multiple pedestrians, or had collisions with cars. She legitimately nearly killed people who were just out with their friends or whatnot. Her car was expensive, a Porsche, it was confiscated and crushed I think. She had no choice but to plead guilty. It wasn't the first time it had happened, but this time, she was banned from driving for a long time, and she served a scentance in jail. I think she deserved everything she got.

For the screaming lady, I've heard how traffickers tend to have one of the women they traffic act like they need help and then lure them to be robbed or kidnapped. The trafficked girl may also target another girl who is by herself in her car and or anywhere, try and have her help or give her a ride, and then hold her at gun/knife point until the guys come over and take the girl. You always have to be careful and not trust anyone sadly

I heard something similar happen down the back road behind the houses behind me the other week. Lady was screaming for a good 10 minutes. Because of the area we often get either druggies or people having arguments/fights so I didn't think much of it at first. Then she screamed "im going to die" and it unsettled me enough that I called the police. They said they'd check it out but she stopped after I got off the phone. I just found it weird because there's lots of neighbours and surely someone else would have called or checked it out. Never heard anything back from the police so idk what happened.

I lived in Phoenix for about 2 years. That’s a pretty common sight to see. Most people that I met (and the reason I originally went down there) are in rehab/recovering addicts. A lot of them go back into addiction and resort to all kinds of crazy tactics to get what they want, in a place they have no family there to return to easily. I only met like 30 people who were actually originally from Arizona the whole time I lived there.

The guy being pulled in the bed doesn't seem shocked, he seems like he's trying to calm himself. Legitimacy aside, it appears to me like he's experienced it multiple times before and he's come up with this breathing technique to help calm himself when the incidents happen. If real, you might think it's a situation that must not be consistent, but does happen regularly enough that he's had to figure out a way to deal with it. Maybe he's been worried people wouldn't believe him, or would think he's mentally unstable if he sought help, so instead he's just tried to endure. Being that it's on video, maybe he's trying to record the incidents for proof if he is considering finding real help. (I'm not saying it's real, I'm just running with the impression I got from him immediately jumping into that sort of meditative position and playing with possibilities.)

I was pulled off my bed a few times, and completely paralyzed.Scared the crap out of me. I tried tell a few people and they would brush it off as tho It wasn't possible or I was making it up for attention or something. People have this idea that if It hasn't happened to me or if I havent seen it it's not real. Wrong way of thinking.

The screaming woman is either a really good actress in her voice and a decoy, or she was maybe sleep walking and half awake wanting to be woken up. Potential drug effect or possession too. Either way I think the guy did the right thing in going inside. That lady screaming was probably a trap or having a bad drug trip. I've experienced both in Phoenix, once while I was out for a jog I came across a lady screaming for help with no visible distress or threat near her. Then another time when a neighbor meth head got lost outside her apartment and was rolling around in the grass screaming for help. (These were 2 different ladies) I know sometimes women and kids are used to lure out good Samaritans but a rule of thumb is if it's happening at night do not engage and just walk away. People still get jumped and stabbed out here and they know where to sake out victims.

Ghost stories have made people afraid of children, women, and old people who might actually be ALIVE but in need; some of the videos I've seen online of people running from potential victims make my stomach turn. Nothing wrong with keeping yourself safe. But please, if you hear someone screaming, PLEASE contact someone who might be able to help, at least.

Exactly, i mean i understand there are chances it might be a trap but there is also a chance that the girl was actually asking for help and she could be walking because she might be hurt or something and there were so many things to protect themselves with could grabbed one thing and if it was a trap hit the shit out of the girl and if was real, a life could possibly be saved .... idk thats what i think 🤷‍♂️

@Will Hooton the thing is, if she was really in trouble you’d be shout “help” more. The majority of the nosies were just weird screams, which only a slight bit of asking for help at the end. That’s not someone in trouble.

The guy that was walking reminds me of some stuff I’ve heard of where people will set you up to get kidnapped or robbed by having a woman scream bloody murder asking for help. When someone walks up, there’s only guys. Scary shit considering they’re targeting kind people. Edit: I didn’t expect number 1 to be literally the exact situation I described about the first one!! But damn!!

Those sounds from the woods in Yong's video are probably coyotes. They are common in the PNW near urban areas, and they sound like screaming children when they howl. Scary, yes, but not dangerous, and certainly not supernatural. Your videos rock, man! Thanks for the scary fun.
