My friends and I were hanging out at one of their houses during Halloween and 2 of them wanted to play blood Mary. I believe that spiritual energy is more powerful on Halloween and that you shouldn't mess with ghosts. I told them not to and they didn't listen. They decided it would be funny to scream after a bit and then go silent. I was actually crying and freaking out. Clutching my ghost beads as I was praying to God. They couldn't make me completely that night and I was jumpy about everything. We later saw 2 red dots outside and that freaked me out more even tho it was a red restaurant sign covered by the trees across the road

As a kid the Mars Attacks! movie scared me to pieces, especially the part where one of the Martians disguises itself as a human woman to infiltrate the government. Also the Fear Street Saga trilogy, for whatever reason kid me got convinced that the books were cursed and the only thing I could do to avoid the curse was to split them up. I wound up keeping one, because that way it couldn't get back to the others, gave one to a friend, and donated the third to one of the local school libraries.
