When I was about ten or eleven my cats brought back a baby bunny. We put it in a box and kept it in the den When I woke up the bunny was gone. My parents said it had died overnight. What they didn’t tell me till I was like twenty was that my cats had managed to sneak into the den and murder the poor thing. There was blood everywhere and my dad spent two hours scrubbing blood at like 5 am.

I had to call the cops on my dad when I was 6 bc he was beating my ma. He never hit her in front of us or hit us. I woke up and saw what was happening my sister distracted my dad while I called the police. We went to live at a women's shelter for a while and my dad didn't live with us after that. I would only see him a handful of times after what happened.

If you repeat this please don't use my name. When I was 10 years old I was walking home from a friend's house. I always used back roads to avoid crowds. This time however I was followed by a man around 20 or 30. I'm not sure what age actually. To a kid most adults are about the same age unless they are very old. Anyway I darted down the road that passed behind my house and saw he started running to ketch up to me. So I started running. The minute I was out of sight I dashed into the wooded lot directly behind our house. I had never been in these woods before. There was a sudden drop. My left went lower than I expected . My left foot landed on a board of nails. I lost my balance and fell forward. I stepped forward with my right and stepped onto another nail. With both feet nailed to boards, I didn't cry out for fear of him finding me. The underbrush was high and thick. I decided to take cover in it. I put my hands out to ease my falling forward and both hands landed on nails. If this wasn't happening to me I'd ever believe it was possible. Anyway I stayed in that position until I felt safe to continue on home. I got home about half an hour later. My parents took me to the hospital for tetanus shots a d never asked why I was in the wooded area so I never told them.

One time my dad said we were in a cabin for vacation and there were warning signs everywhere for bears and wildcats and we were getting in the car to meet my aunt at a pizza place for lunch and dad heard me say puppy. that kid could buy his parents a $10,000,000 bottle of bourbon, and it wouldnt mean a damn thing. its not the bourbon they were given at their wedding. he can *NEVER* replace it due to the sentimental value it had. it could have been a $2 bottle of whiskey his great grandfather pulled out of the trash, and that wouldnt have mattered. the whiskey was worth a hell of a lot more than money. monetary value never meant a damn thing to begin with in this case. the tail thing isnt just cruel. its abusive for a child that young. if the kid was older and at an age where they can understand a joke and sarcasm clearly then it would be funny. but in this case, it is not. if i had to find one positive thing in this list it would be with number one. it was purely an unintentional act. and they paid their respects to the cat, and gave him not only a proper burial, but a proper funeral. that is real love.

Once my little cousin had 2 pet Guniea pigs. One was light brown named Sunshine and the other moonlight which was black. One day my two other cousins were playing with sunshine in the toilet. I had a cat for 20 years, who I had to put down because she had a stroke and never recovered from it. She was in extreme pain, barely walked, and barely ate after. I held her in my arms while the vet euthanised her. I cried so hard before, during, and after. I don't regret my decision. She was my best friend for 20 years and she deserved to go out peacefully. It was the least I could do.

Strangely enough it seems to be a phase that some children go through. I have a female cousin who was still going through it in her late teens early twenties. She never actually set anything on fire, but she always had a lighter that she would flick on and off, and since she doesn't smoke I can only say that she was sort of a pyromaniac.

I have a sort of opposite story for the one about the rings. My (maternal) grandmother died in 2008. She had a lot of jewelry that I adored, and my grandfather let me have a couple of her rings. I wore those things everywhere, especially the fire opal one. In (iirc) 2012, my mother and my siblings and I went to a waterpark in Niagara Falls, and I had to take the rings off so they wouldn't fall off in a pool or something. My mother put them in her purse, and I went about my day at the park. After we left, I was frantically searching my mother's purse for those rings, and found nothing. I was devastated; those were my grandmother's rings, and I thought I'd lost them somewhere I couldn't easily get back to so I could look (we live in SW Ontario). Flash forward to Christmas 2017. I hadn't lived with my mother in yeard at that point, but I'd gone over to celebrate with my brothers. I accidentally got chocolate on my pants, so I ducked into the bathroom to change. What do I find in a basket on the back of her toilet? The fire opal ring I thought I'd lost five years ago in Niagara Falls. For five years, my mother let me believe I lost a ring that belonged to her own late mother, despite seeing how much it hurt me to think that. I was hurt beyond words that she'd do that. Thankfully, the ring is now safe in my bedroom where it belongs.

Ok now I feel like I’m boring because the worst thing I’ve ever done(that I can think of rn) was accidentally steal something from a shop Long story short, I was going to a sleepover, but before I did I met up with my friend in the shopping centre, with 2 bags of things(because I’m a nerd and it all didn’t fit in 1 bag). I was awkwardly carrying it around while following my friend, who decided she wanted to go into Clair’s(a shop that sells jewellery, makeup, etc). I don’t normally like things like that, and didn’t really wanna go, but she wanted to, so I awkwardly followed her in. Just before we left I was a clumsy idiot, and accidentally knocked over EVERYTHING with my giant bags, so I got her to hold them while I helped the shop assistant pick up everything and yelling “SORRY SORRY SORRY SORRY SORRY!” Little did I know this fancy lip balm fell into my bag. There are no security things so there was no way of knowing it was there for anyone until I checked So me and her left quickly and awkwardly, her laughing at what a clumsy awkward mess I am, but then after about 5 minutes of walking away hoping I never had to go back, I noticed the lip balm in my bag. I was panicking like “OH NO I STOLE THIS I DIDNT MEAN TO I NEED TO PUT IT BACK BUT I CANT I MIGHT GET IN TROUBLE I CANT FACE THEM AGAIN WHAT DO I DO?!!!” And she was just there like “hey calm down it’s fine. You don’t want it, so I’ll have it” so I let her have it. And that’s the story of how I accidentally stole lip balm from a shop

When my friend and I were about twelve years old we would run all over the neighborhood, as kids often do. There was a guy who had a dog named 'Hey You'. (We didnt realize that was silly at the time.) We would stop to pet the dog any time the guy had him outside on his front porch. One day he tried to invite us inside and we said no. Made up an excuse that we had to get home. A few years later that same man abandoned Hey You, tied him up outside a local grocery store. The man was babysitting an infant for a couple and when they returned to retrieve their child they found him abusing the baby in unspeakable ways. Its been ages since then and I still remember how friendly the guy seemed at the time.

Great vid! Just this weekend we took my kids to Australia Zoo, instead of listening to hours of "are we at the zoo yet?" In the car, we had my 4 year old convinced we were going to the" bum doctor " 4 her shots 2 get rid of worms! The adults all thought it wee hilarious! 8 hours later as we're leaving the zoo she asks where was the bum doctor, did we miss her appointment! Lol
